Sonos review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one that was open box and assured nothing was wrong. Got it home, cranked it up and it didn't work. With no problems they took the unit back and I replaced with a new one. Worked perfectly. Ever since have had no problems. Be wary of open box when it comes to Sonos... Great product though!

Software needed an update, annoying set up process
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos is good but the set up process was annoying. It didn't even have the latest software on it. I recommend getting Sonos room units that include their own speaker, unless connecting to a home theater system. Look at Boss systems too. I'm sure the competitive products have their advantages. I'll probably keep it but wish I would have researched other options before buying Sonos brand. They were first but not necessarily the best. I have seen Bose advantages since buying.

New life to old speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an older receiver / speaker set that was just astetically sitting in our living room because we primarily use a sound bar to watch TV. The CONNECT gave new life to the speakers once we added it to our Sonos ecosystem. The whole house is filled with music.

Works for what it is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish you could control the device via Sonos app. You have to manually turn on the equipment and set the filter on your stereo to AUX when you want to run it. Not as streamlined as the Sonos stand alone speakers. But it does work and allow you to listen to your music through the Sonos app. Also, doesn't come with a cable so you need another $30 for a audio connect cable

Good for my needs.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ran into early problems because my phone has IOS. Sonos says Android works great and they're working with Apple to solve the glitch. But they helped me with a work around (starting my music with my computer instead of my phone) and I'm very pleased now.

Magic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Connect has transformed my 1980's stereo receiver to a current A/V one. I was looking for a way to include internet and satellite radio plus a remote control into my current system and the Connect does it. Easy setup and lots of fun! It's like buying a new A/V receiver for $350.

Good system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only drawback is it takes additional equipment to playback from anything other than wireless or receiver. We had wanted to be able to listen to football games over the outdoor speakers but cant hook up tv input without more equipment.

MultiRoom Dream
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been back and forth several times about whether to invest in a wired multiroom setup or go wireless. Sonos provides an affordable wireless option using your existing audio components. Their interface provides many desirable features and is very easy to use. Kudos! Love it!

Songs has a neat wifi solution.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a Sonos wifi network, the Sonos - Connect will add another standalone system to your network. I added a Bose amp & speakers by direct connect. The Sonos app controls the whole system. It's the way to go to build out your whole house (or office). It's expensive. But it works.

Great for connecting record player to Sonos system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great addition to my Sonos system and slows us to connect our record player to the rest of our Sonos set up. Under the settings you can change the input levels so you don’t have changes in levels switching between different music inputs.

Good stuff
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use an set up. Can hook up multiple devices. If you already have speakers throughout the house you can hook this up the receiver or amp and play anything from your smart phone. It has multiple different radio stations including pandora and spotify. Allows you to make your own playlist also.

Difficult to install
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as easy to connect as the salesman told us. Doesn't come with instructions. Daughter made 1st attempt (engineer) but was not successful. Then our best friend who is also an engineer got connected after 4 hours! Way to expensive for the trouble!

Great for Wifi sound system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos connect was easy to link with my wifi and connected into a receiver I had wired to several speakers in my home. I purchased 2 and put one with my living room surround sound. I can control music from my phone including the source and volume independently, or as a group.

The best way to stream uncompressed audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As Apple continues to drag their feet in offering an iTunes library without compression, I found the Sonos Connect to be a pretty solid solution for streaming audio. The Sonos app could use some improvement, but I have the system integrated with my Lutron Caseta Wireless in wall dimmers. The remote on my coffee table allows me to cycle through favorite playlists, raise and lower the volume and skip tracks without a device.

Love Sonos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased a new stereo system to which I added several Sonos speakers. I love the versatility of wireless speakers and the ability to hear my stereo system anywhere in my house. My only complaint would be that it didn't come in black.

I love this!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product. I was able to turn my home theater system into a Sonos connected system to play music along with my Play 5s through the house! Works great! Tip: use the included audio cable instead of getting an optical cable. The optical cable creates a lag.
