    Incredible Seamless Device

I wish I knew about Sonos earlier, this device is the solution to what I've always been looking for, a device that brings my whole music library into the palm of my hands. I set up wireless zones by my pool and on all 3 levels of my house, the product works so perfectly so far. The best part about it was that it was instant satisfaction in that it took all of 10 minutes and 4 simple steps to set up. Who knew setting up a multi-zone music system could ever be this easy! Some would say the price of this product is high but I honestly would have paid triple this amount for what the product provides. Overall, I would say this was the most satisfying electronic device that I've ever purchased!

Sonos has created a fantastic product. With only a few minutes available before a party at our house I plugged the Sonos Connect into the sound system of our house and before the first guest showed up - beautiful Christmas music streaming from my phone. Major brownie points scored!

So many technological gadgets advertise how easy and simple it is to use their product, but then when you get them, there often are glitches that need to be worked out. This was as advertised. You literally just plug this into your network, and next thing you know, you are listening to music. One of the packages allow you to also buy the Sonos Controller, which is an expensive, and unnecessary controller. If you have an ITouch ipod, a free application turns your ITouch into the controller. If you don't have an ITouch, use this as a chance to buy one because the ITouch is cheaper than the Sonos controller, works exactly the same, and also gives you an ITouch ipod to take with you wherever you go. If others in your family have ITouch Ipods as well, you can immediately link all of them to the Sonos system, in essence, giving you numerous controllers. If you buy a 2nd Zone player, or another type of Sonos player, as I did, the ease to add this to your existing system is literally, again, as easy as pushing two buttons, and you are now listening wirelessly throughout your house.

Brought it home, plugged it into my net, the wall and the stereo, then loaded the software. Was listening to my Pandora account in under 5 minutes! It was so easy! And seeing I have an Ipod Touch, that app is awesome as well! I recently loaded my whole CD collection of about 2000 cds onto a portable hard drive and after adding it to my playlist on the Sonos, I never have to touch my cds again! The sound is also great! (I hooked mine up with a digital cable) This is the best thing I have bought for my stereo in a LONG time!

I started with 1 play one, 1 play five and a connect for my primary home theater system. Then I added another play one and now a playbar. Needless to say I love all my Sonos products. The connect works as advertised and is as easy to set up as it gets. Two thumbs up!

I bought this as a simple way to add music streaming to an existing whole house audio system that didnt have this capability. Sonos has a reputation for easy to use equipment but this surpassed even my expectations. It took 2 minutes to plug all the cables in, and using the Sonos app on my iPhone, it took maybe another 2 minutes to set it up and start streaming. The app works well on all my apple devices and couldn't be simpler for my whole family to use. Highly recommended.!

    FANTASTIC SYSTEM

We have been using Sonos for 6 or 7 years and have added on to it a few times. It has always worked reliably. I have found their customer support outstanding the very few times I have used it. I am today purchasing another system(from BestBuy) as a birthday gift for our college bound daughter. We have a Rhapsody account and use that for most all of our listening. We have a CD player connected and have streamed music from computers but find Rhapsody so well integrated that there seems little need for other sources. Our daughter has aquired alot of music and will likely make more use of those other options. The systems seem pricey but they are well built and have performed reliably. A power surge last winter resulting from a bad connection at the street required us to replace a Zone Player we have in a vacation home. Since it was well out of warranty, Sonos replaced the unit with a new Connect Amp for only $150. Great product and great service!

Music everywhere in my house controlled by iPhone

I went in to buy a B & W Zeppelin for my iPhone and came out with this instead. I hooked it up to my receiver and the sound is incredible out of my B & W speakers I already have. I also bought the play 5 for my bedroom. I can use my iPad or iPhone and control my music from anywhere in my house. I showed it off last night to my friends and they were at best buy the next day getting one for themselves. Best product to come out since Apple iPad. Very simple to hook up and use.

It turns out i am still having audio drop outs not associated with the Connect as I stated in my previous review. I still believe it is overpriced though for what it does.

I am super happy with this product. I have invested about $3000.00 in Sonos components. I have 5 each ZP90's; one ZP120; one Bridge and one Controller 200. As a long time audiophile, I am thrilled with how this equipment allows me to play music all over the house, in the garage and in the patio. The same source material at all locations or different material whereever there is a Zone Player. If the reliability of this product is top notch over time, it will have been money well spent. I couldn't be happier. It is like having a Juke Box to the world.

Best thing to happen to music since the Ipod

Best purchase I have made in long time. Being a music buff and now having the ability to access forty thousand songs on my 1 TB hard-drive from any room in the house is just awesome! I am currently using the SONOS Connect in three zones and have the ability to listen to the same playlist at the same time in each zone or listen to three different playlist at the same time from each zone. And, to kick it up notch, you will have access to hundreds of radio stations around the world and as well as Pandora and other internet based music sites.

I returned it. Way overpriced product that is more like mid-fi than hi-fi. If you're just going to stream audio then buy a bluetooth receiver and plug it into your stereo and save yourself about $300. Thought this would be a convenient way to play my iTunes library on a NAS drive as well as stream but I will just go back to using my iPod classic because it sounds better playing lossless files.

    Great but not perfect

I recently purchased the ZP 90 to connect to my already established home stereo. I've been looking for some time to have a way to stream internet radio through my home stereo, and this seemed like a perfect fit. Pros: compact so it is not that noticeable among my other audio equipment. The sound produced from my own speakers is great. Once I had set up the bridge, connection was quick. Cons: The only drawback I found with this was in the setup, which is why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. I have a wireless network at the house which works well. However, for my home stereo/entertainment area I have a sling link to allow me to have all of my equipment wired for greater fidelity of the signal. When I plugged in the ZP 90, it took down my internet connection for all devices in the house, and would not even connect to the Sonos network. Once I unplugged it, everything worked well and there have not been any interruptions of signal over the wireless network, but that was one issue I thought I would bring up. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the system.

Great sound, easy to instal (if you are a little used to computers). I got a Play5, a Play3, a Zone Player ans a Bridge. Only the Zone brougt me a little dificult to work with my Home Theater, nothing too hard to solve. I am very, very satisfied. I just dont get to control the system beeing ou of the home-network. Maybe I have to read a little more. I got to control it from notebook, galaxy SII, iPhone, iPad. Again, FANTASTIC!!!!

I am a news junkie and liked to listen to sporting events but don't like to sit in front of the TV. I can broadcast the TV audio using the line out to speakers around the house. If a touchdown or run is scored I can get back to the TV and watch the replay. Great in the kitchen while fixing a meal.

Solution to taking advantage of Sonos on existing

I already had a Bose system in my home theater loved the concept of Sonos. I really wanted to take advantage of the ability to stream the same music from upstairs and downstairs at the same time. While this might be a bit pricey, it was the perfect solution without having a separate speaker. I am thinking of purchasing another one in order to get outdoor speakers hooked into Sonos as well.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and works right out of the box. Outstanding support at Sonos to get a a complex system up and running. They were much more helpful, knowledgeable and available than support at Apple or LaCie to address set up issues.

    Beware Of System Echo!

I have been building my Sonos Home System for a few months now and have been very happy with the results. I decided to add my Sony Surround Sound System by using Sonos Connect. As always, purchase went well, set up was easy. But once the system became a part of the network, there was an intolerable echo that occurred during music play. I looked online and discovered this is a BIG problem with the Connect! I tried all of the suggested fixes, to no avail. I returned the Connect and got 2 Play1 Speakers instead.
