The Sonos Era 300 is a remarkable speaker with very crisp and clear sound. When I first tried setting up the Sonos Era 300 Bluetooth speaker using the Android app I could not get it to work on my Galaxy S10 plus. I still do not know why because luckily I have another Android phone thatworked just fine and I went through the set up which was very intuitive. I am not sure why it has to be so complex but with a little bit of technical saviness and the ability to interpret the English language made it easy. Once I got it connected to WIFI and then connected to my Android phone I added YouTube music and went to a playlist I had made and immediately upon listening to part of the first song I was so excited I just had to get my wife to come listen with me. We sat together and listened to that whole playlist of songs and were very impressed. The Sonos Era 300 nade listening to music so enjoyable we could not resist and that was not even with High Defintion music or Dolby atmos. I can not wait to get into that. Now the problem is I immediately started thinking of building a surround sound system with Sonos speakers. I am thinking the newest subwoofer the Sonos Sub Gen 3 along with the Sonos Arc Soundbar, one more Era 300 speaker and two Era 100 speakers on the stands for rear surround. Okay enough daydreaming for now. I am very impressed with the Sonos Era 300 and the ability in the app to add all kinds of Android media apps to it. There is Apple Music, Sonos Radio, Tidal, Spotify, SoundCloud and then apps like IHeart Radio, TuneIn Radio and even Podcast apps like Pocket Cast and lets not forget about SiriusXM. I cloud go on and on but I have yet to discover evry compatible app because I was so anxious to listen to this engineering marvel. I really think a full surround system would be amazing. I did not even get near full volume on the Era 300 I only got up to 69 on the volume and it was plenty loud and sounded amazing. I am a first time Sonos user and I have to say I have never owned a in home Bluetooth speaker that immediately had me thinking about expanding me Speaker arsenal of more of that brand. The Sonos Era 300 is that impressive and while it does have pretty good low end it is not the same as a dedicated subwoofer. I have some other surround system even one with a dedicated Receiver Ampllifier and I am still drawn to the Sonos because of the Soundstage and the Dolby Atmos that I know will come with a complete Sonos surround system. While the Sonos speakers require a power outlet to plug them in they connect to each other wirelessly which is a very attractive feature. The amazing thing is they are both transmitters of there own WIFI signal and receivers of WIFI and Bluetooth signals. That means One Sonos speaker can put out the Sonos wireless signal to another speaker even if your router or home WIFI can not reach that speaker your closest Sono speaker in a room to room whole home array can. Sonos has very well thought out and well executed software and all the features needed to make them work in a wide field of application scenarios based on your needs. I should mention though that you will need a TV with Arc output for Dolby Atmos or you can buy an adapter from Sonos to get your non Arc TV to work with Dolby Atmos. Sonos pretty much has everything covered as far as I can see. While a Sonos system can get pricy if you get there high end or newest products there are many systems that cost more. Personally, I believe a Sonos surround system or even a whole house system including a surround in your media room or living room would satisfy even hardcore audiophiles like myself. Yes I like it loud with deep bass and a full sound stage from the lowest frequencies up to the highest ones. Thiis can be acheived with a premium Sonos system so do not hesitate to start building yours today!

I am impressed with the Sonos Era 300. The moment I fired up a Netflix 4K movie, the Dolby Atmos sound completely filled the room. It gives this 3D effect where voices stay clear in the center while effects bounce around the room like you’re in the scene. What really impressed me is how smoothly it pairs with my Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbar in my living room. The soundbar already delivered a killer front soundstage, but adding the Era 300 gives the whole setup this immersive surround feel. The Era 300s blend easily into my existing Sonos ecosystem. The Sonos app is easy to add and reorganize my Sonos systems in three rooms. There is no tweaking, no lag, and no complicated settings. I highly recommend.

Bought two of these for stereo seperation. Simply amazing speakers with enough bass that a sub is not needed. Dolby Atmos comtent sound great and setup was super easy with no issues. They're pricey but your paying for the good sound and ability to move them litterly anywhere in your home with no connection issues. Like an Apple product IT JUST WORKS!

The Sonos 300 is an impressive addition to the Sonos lineup, blending sleek design with powerful sound. As a smart speaker, it delivers crisp highs, detailed mids, and a rich bass that fills the room without distortion, even at higher volumes. The setup is incredibly easy, thanks to Sonos’ intuitive app and voice control integration, including compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. One of the standout features of the Sonos 300 is its ability to integrate seamlessly with other Sonos products, allowing you to create a multi-room audio system effortlessly. The build quality is solid, with a modern aesthetic that suits almost any decor. However, while the speaker delivers great sound for its size, it may lack the deep low-end punch that larger models like the Sonos Sub offer. Overall, the Sonos 300 is an excellent choice for those looking for high-quality sound in a compact, easy-to-use package that integrates seamlessly into a smart home ecosystem. It's perfect for music lovers, podcast enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to upgrade their home audio setup without dealing with a complicated installation.

The Sonos Era 300 Speaker is a formidable standalone audio device and an excellent choice for creating an immersive surround sound setup. As someone who has incorporated the Era 300 as surround speakers in my home theater with the Arc and 2 Subs Gen 3, I've been thoroughly impressed with their performance and integration with the Sonos ecosystem. Sound Performance: The Sonos Era 300 seamlessly blends with your existing audio setup to create a rich and immersive soundstage when used as surround speakers. Their well-balanced audio reproduction complements the front and center channels, enhancing the overall surround sound experience. The Era 300 reproduces the rear audio effects precisely, providing an enveloping and realistic sound environment for movies, TV shows, and games. I was a bit nervous since I have a large leaving room and real high ceilings, but the Atmos still works wonders. Easy Integration: Setting up the Sonos Era 300 as surround speakers is effortless. They can be wirelessly connected to your Sonos Arc, eliminating the need for cumbersome wiring. The Sonos app guides you through the setup process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free installation. Once integrated, the Era 300 seamlessly syncs. TruePlay is a must for great tunning. Wireless Convenience: The wireless connectivity of the Sonos Era 300 adds convenience and flexibility to your home theater setup. Without needing physical connections, you can position the surround speakers in optimal locations without worrying about cable management. The wireless connection also ensures reliable and synchronized audio playback, maintaining perfect audio alignment with the rest of your Sonos system. Design and Build Quality: The Sonos Era 300 follows other Sonos products' sleek and modern design language. They have a compact form factor that blends well with any home decor. The build quality is excellent, with a solid construction that exudes durability and longevity. The Era 300 can also be wall-mounted or placed on speaker stands, allowing flexible placement options based on your room's layout and preferences. I myself have the Sanus 300 Stand to go with the speakers. Overall, the Sonos Era 300 Speaker excels as a surround speaker, delivering an immersive and seamless surround sound experience. Their impressive audio performance, easy integration into the Sonos ecosystem, and wireless convenience enhance the overall cinematic experience in your home theater setup. If you want to elevate your surround sound system with high-quality wireless speakers, the Sonos Era 300 is a worthy investment to bring your movies and entertainment to life.

I've been extremely impressed with the Sonos Era 300 speakers. From the moment I set them up, the sound quality exceeded my expectations. The audio is rich, detailed, and fills the entire room in a way that makes music feel more immersive and lifelike. What stands out most is the spacious soundstage. Whether I'm listening to music, watching movies, or streaming concerts, the speakers create an enveloping experience that makes it seem like sound is coming from all around me. The bass is deep without being overpowering, vocals are crystal clear, and every instrument feels well-defined. The setup process was simple, and the Sonos app made it easy to get everything connected and tuned to my space. I also appreciate the modern design, which looks great in my home and blends in nicely with my decor. While they are a premium product, I genuinely feel the performance justifies the investment. If you're looking for high-quality speakers that deliver exceptional sound and a premium user experience, the Sonos Era 300 is an outstanding choice. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them.

The speakers are amazing!! I have owned the Sonos Arc and subwoofer for quite some time now. I have been dying to add to my home theater system to achieve the complete Dolby Atmos experience. After researching for weeks on line, I decided to go with the Era 300s. Although they were on the pricey end, I purchased the speakers on line and went to my local Best Buy to pick them up. When I arrived at the store, I decided to go to the back so that I could see or hear the speaker in person. I was so excited when I noticed a in store sticker advertising that the speaker was less than what I had paid online. I immediately went to the customer service desk and was told that it was an old sticker and that I had to pay the full price!!! Having worked in customer service before, I know that if the store makes a mistake with price tickets, typically the store honors the price and then removes the ticket for all future customers. However, in this case that did not happen. I was told by management that they couldn’t do anything!!! She was quite rude and did not try to offer any type of discount. I took the speakers anyway, because I purchased them on my Best Buy card and was financing them over 24 months. I thought if I called customer service, they would possibly credit me the $100 difference. WRONG!!! I spoke to someone in India who put me on hold 5 times just to tell me no. Best Buy in Dothan really needs to work on their customer service!! I have purchased multiple high ticket items in this store in the past and have never had any issues. This store always looks like a ghost town. If they continue to treat loyal customers this way, it probably won’t be long until they’re out of business.

First I have to say that I am not an audiophile, but an every day user with an appreciation for quality. Sonos ERA 300 is an absolutely fantastic stand alone speaker. It sounds great with no detectable distortion even at highest volume. It is wi-fi & blue tooth capable and connects wirelessly to your devices immediately. I have this in my living room that is about 24’x30’. With its multidirectional design this speaker fills the room very nicely. It’s sits on a shelf and does not have an imposing presence. It does not require an amp or other equipment to work. It has great base and produces every frequency fantastically. This speaker is not Bower & Wilkins that cost a great deal more, but for the price it’s a fantastic choice. I compared this to Bose & Marshal before my purchase and chose this one. Sonos definitely produces great audio equipment. Kudos.

Got a pair of these in the holidays, paired them with an Arc and 2 Gen 3 subs, boy oh boy they make a bang! Pros: Excellent sound quality: The Era 300s deliver clear, crisp audio with rich bass and impressive soundstage. They're particularly well-suited for Dolby Atmos content, providing a truly immersive listening experience. User-friendly Sonos ecosystem: The Era 300s seamlessly integrate with the Sonos ecosystem, making it easy to control them using the Sonos app, voice assistants, or your TV remote. Wireless and versatile: The Era 300s are completely wireless, so you don't have to worry about messy cables. They can also be used as standalone speakers or paired with other Sonos speakers for a surround sound system. Stylish design: The Era 300s have a sleek and modern design that looks good in any home. Cons: Expensive: The Era 300s are quite expensive, especially when compared to other wireless speakers on the market. Limited bass: While the bass is generally good, some users find it lacking, especially if you're used to a subwoofer. No HDMI input: The Era 300s don't have an HDMI input, so you can't connect them directly to your TV. You'll need to use an optical audio cable or connect them wirelessly through a Sonos soundbar. They have to be paired or unpaired in the app to listen between stereo (music) or Surround (movies), small inconvenience, but nothing major.

Originally got one of these as it fit the bill for what I was looking for in a smart speaker, and it blew me away. Dolby Atmos aside, it’s seriously impressive how well this speaker throws out sound to the sides, and honestly has a more defined L + R than a lot of soundbars that put the physical drivers much farther apart than on the Era 300. It also has a lot more bass output than you would expect for its size, especially given that its just 2 small woofers and 4 tweeters. I now have 2 in a stereo pair, and Atmos tracks on them are just mesmerizing, and even without any Sub I can get very impressive output in and below the 40HZ range. I really can’t belive these can be used as rears in a soundbar system, given that a single Era 300 blows a lot of soundbars themselves out of the water let alone the cheap rears most soundbars give you. I’m now looking at adding an Arc and 2 Gen 3 Subs, and hope that Sonos will add support to use an additional 300 pair without doing the crazy grouping method to make it happen. If you’re considering it, do it.

“A Sonic Triumph: Sonos Era 300 vs. HomePod”

I recently upgraded my home audio setup, and the Sonos Era 300 has truly impressed me. Compared to the HomePod, the Era 300 delivers a richer and more immersive sound experience. The clarity of highs, depth of lows, and overall balance are exceptional, making every note come alive. One standout feature is the versatility of the Era 300. Its compatibility with various streaming services and easy integration into existing smart home setups provide a seamless user experience. The ability to fine-tune audio settings through the Sonos app allows for personalized sound customization tailored to individual preferences. With the HomePod you get locked into the Apple ecosystem. Moreover, the Era 300’s design is sleek and modern, seamlessly blending into any room aesthetic. Its compact size doesn’t compromise on power, and the build quality is evident from the moment you unbox it. While the HomePod has its merits, the Sonos Era 300 outshines it in terms of audio fidelity, flexibility, and design. If you’re seeking a premium speaker that delivers a superior listening experience, the Sonos Era 300 is undoubtedly a top contender.

I recently updated to the Sonos era 300's and Sonos beam gen 2 from the Sonos Sl 1's and Sonos beam 1 and I am absolutely blown away and could not be more happier. Sonos products are a little on the pricier side but you definately get what you pay for, solid amazing sound quality and the living room is now rocking. For surround sound they are spot on and when listening to music through Spotify the sound repoduction is off the charts, If you have some spare cash do not hesitate and grab these babies you won't be disappointed.

I am very excited to install these speakers as part of my Sonos surround sound system to upgrade to true Dolby Atmos! These speakers are very well-designed, solidly built, and provide expansive sound! It was very easy to integrate these speakers using the Sonos App into my existing system, and it made a world of difference in the soundfield. Awesome upgrade from Sonos 1(s). I bought these with the sonos Arc Ultra. It's really easy and intuitive to set up in the app. Speaker came right out of the box with just a single power cord to deal with. The speaker itself looks really nice. Sound is so good when paired with Sonos Sub 4, just sit back and enjoy the show. Highly recommended

The Era 300 makes Dolby Atmos feel downright awesome. Spatial mixes have real height and width—vocals float, instruments breathe, and effects wrap the room. As a standalone it’s impressive, but pairing it with a Sonos Arc (an “Arc ultra” setup) is next level: use a pair as surrounds and the bubble of sound gets huge and cinematic. Music and movies both shine, Trueplay helps dial it in, and the black finish looks sharp. If you want immersive audio without a rack of gear, this is a killer choice.

I am very much impressed with the ERA 300. I was doubtful in buying it specially hearing the demo setup at bestbuy, it just does not sound right. I decided to give it a try and bought a pair and see how it compares with my Sonos Five gen2 which i also use as surround speakers. I was blown away with the sound quality, the sound balances the sound coming from the arc and the sound is bouncing on the wall, ceiling, simply amazing. I tried watching movies like top gun, ready player one on dolby atmos, wow huge diffference it makes from my sonos five gen 2 speakers for surround. My recommendation to all buyers is if you are wanting HIFI quality stereo sound, go with the SONOS FIVE GEN 2, it is simply the best and the flagship SONOS stereo speakers. Now if you want the best in ATMOS, SPACIAL AUDIO, ATMOS MUSIC, this era 300 is best for surround system just my opinion. Overall, i am very happy with my purchase. I own and hooked up with SONOS system, i have Arc, 2 Gen3 Sub, 2 Sonos Five Gen 2, 2 Sonos One SL and now 2 Era 300.

So i give 5 stars when something exeeds my expectations. This does so. Okay, so I was interested in Sonos for a while now. I like the idea of linking them and using them differently depending on the situation. Prior to this though, i wasnt that impressed with the sound. It was good but not worth the price to me. I bought this after demoing a few stand-alone bluetooth enabled speakers at Best Buy. It sounded as good or better than most I tried. Of course this was complicated by the fact the demos are not set up to hear the same music from demo speaker to demo speaker. Still, the demo wasn't that impressive as it is in a big wide open space and cannot use its room "correction" software/magic, more later. First the sound, it is pretty good. There is enough of everything, bass, treble, and mids, that music sounds good. However, it does seem to be a bit softer in the mid range. This is where the app comes into play. The app is so full function, i dont know the half of it. This is how one can link multiple speakers, set up room correction, adjust an equalizer and the more I haven’t played with yet. This one little speaker is impressive, especially after set up and going through the room correction. Once the room correction is complete, the speaker becomes magic. It is impressive solo with music with decent bass, not bass-head bass but nice and tight for "regular" music. After the room correction though, something strange happens. You can walk around the room and the voice sounds like it follows you around the room. It is wierd and wonderful at the same time. This made me want to go get a second one immediately for two reasons; one, I really want to hear what this could do in stereo, and two, I want to play with this as part of a home theater. Good job Sonos! You converted me to your updated speakers. I suspect my next several speaker purchases will be Sonos so i can connect as a whole house system and play with home theater setups. This should be fun. Still a bit expensive though.

The Sonos Era 300 is fantastic for surround speakers in a home theater setup. They are also great for high fidelity music listening. I have found myself using my pair of 300s in both settings! These speakers are worth the price tag! The box themselves are greatly designed too which helped me with a recent move. If you already have Sonos products, these will be a great addition to your setup! If you are looking for a top notch speaker with easy compatibly and connections, the Era 300 is the way to go!
