I bought this as my desk speaker for a new PC build i did. Was honestly impressed. Its not blow your mind away but compared to listening to music off a arc and beam gen 1 its a noticeable difference. I saw reviews that said it doesnt have base like the new apple speaker but it has plemty base for me. Wouldni buy again ? Yes. 450$ is a lot i think 400 would have been perfect price poimt. Also, i do plan in the future to buy another and use them as rears for my theater set up . I also use bluetooth to connect from PC since wired has a small delay. Bluetooth no delay. I have not yet pushed these new speakers to their limits. Under normal home theater mode while (aka streaming) I really haven't noticed much between these and the SL's. I'm sure once I run dedicated 4K through them with ATMOS movies I'll experience more. But the long and short of this: You have have the money, go for the era 300's, if the budget is tight, the affordable SL's work just fine.

I was looking for something that made me feel like I was in a movie theater. These sure made it feel that way! Love these along with the rest of the speakers.

Excellent product great sound easy to hook up and pair with sound bar

Excellent sound out of this compact speaker. I have it set up by my pool and it sounds great at low and medium volume. I haven’t cranked it up due to the close proximity of my neighbors. Set up was easy, just download the app and enjoy!

I do like the Sonos speakers. I do wish they could be a little louder but it may be that I still don't know how to completely use them or it may be incorrect placement of speakers.

Once signal issue was resolved I was very happy with the clarity and sound quality these speakers produced. Advice from sales person advised addition of sub-woofer which improved the impact of the bass. Also happy to learn that these are not manufactured in China.

Have been using these as my rear surrounds in my Sonos system with the Arc snd Sub Mini. These are powerful enough by themselves but really add some oomf when in a complete system. Dolby Atmos enabled, love it.

expensive, but if you want that atmos envelopment then these are necessary. They get loud be careful if you have thin walls .

Purchased 2 Sonos Eros 300 as part of a premium surround sound system. They were very easy to pair to existing Sonos Arc soundbar and Gen 3 subwooofer to complete the system. It completes a 3D dolby surround sound with Dolby Atmos. It sounds amazing just like in a theater.

I bought just one and its for use while listening to music straming primarily from Apple which has the spatial audio on a lot of albums. The only place i ever really notice spatial difference is in the car with the multiple speakers, so i wont say i am blown away with that on ths speaker. That being said, the sound is dynamic and the speaker works with great ease. At this point, for home audio I am a Sonos guy. I got the arc in the living room and the Beam in the bedroom. I think the soundbars are amazing. For the 300 as a standalone, it is also amazing, but it is indeed pretty expensive for what is basically a bookshelf speaker. For me, the sound quality and system integration justifies the price tag, and its hard for me to imagine you would find anything better at a lower price. But there are certainly cheaper alternatives that sound great too. Maybe just not quite Sonos great.

Put together an all SONOS system alongside with the Arc Ultra + Sub 4, I watched several reviews, but honestly was a little sceptical about if it was such a different experience from a more “modest” sound system like my “old” LG S95TR, long story short; I’m blown away with the whole experience, is like there’s a new dimension in sound I didn’t noticed before, of course it comes with a price premium, but totally worth it.

I have replace my Sonos One with this as my Surround speaker. it work great and loud. but as most Youtube Review have cover the front speaker is disable when act as surround speaker. but over all is great addition to watch Movie and play game. but with $450 per speaker is little bit pricey.

Sounds great and easy to set up. Have received 2 refurbished speakers from Best Buy and both look and work great. Only Disappointment is you have to use the app to control it, remote just controls the ARC speaker.

Easy to set up. I paired 2 Era 300s with a Beam Gen 2. The Atmos tracks are very immersive (Ed Sheeran’s “Boat” sounds like Ed is across the room from you!). Non-Atmos tracks also sound good, still adding warmth and richness to a stereo mix.

This speaker is phenomenal, so i relized one tweeter in the front only works if it is paird in stereo mode by design the front tweeters are disabled, most people will buy these as surrounds. But tge dolby atmos content is real nice imaging is wide and clear. Love these.

Sonos Era 300 With Sonos Era 300 (purchased 4/15/23), my problem of listening to music in one particular audio sweet spot is solved. I have always been a Bose fan. And I hooked up five Bose speakers (a center Bose speaker, two front 701 Bose speakers, and two back Bose speakers) and a Velodyne power subwoofer HSG-10BG (1250 Watts RMS/3000 Watts peak) to a Pioneer VSX-59TXi receiver. The audio sound quality is unbelievably awesome but there is a problem. I must always sit in one particular audio sweet spot in order to really enjoy being in the center of all the surrounding sounds. The sound system is excellent for watching 2 hrs movie but I can’t just sit for hours in one particular audio sweet spot just to listen to all my favourite songs. With Sonos Era 300, the audio sweet spot - aka “spatial audio,” I don’t have to be in one particular spot. The audio sweet spot from Sonos Era 300 follows me in all directions. Now, that is out of the box sound engineering and I love it. I absolutely recommend Sonos Era 300 to anyone who love music. A very happy customer Ted
