I wanted to add a speaker in the nearby kitchen. I bought this speaker and connected it using the system app. It worked as well as I had hoped. Great addition to our house.

One or one SL, which one to get

I bought the SL because it was open box. Great speaker, use it for rear home theater setup with beam and sub. If you are using as a standalone speaker I would suggest the SL with voice control but if paired in the same room with a sonos soundbar, the voice control is not necessary. Save a couple bucks and get these. Also, my parents bought a bose setup in 2019 and ditched it for sonos after just 1 year. Sonos ftw

Great Speaker, No Google Speaker Groups

Overall the speaker has great sound and produces pretty good lows for it's size. The only cons for the speaker is that you cannot add it to a speaker group within the Google Home app and it does need to be situated away from a wall to get the best sound. Very small cons compared to all the pros of this great little speaker.

Recommend anything Sonos for sure.
