Customers are saying
Customers highly value the One SL Wireless Smart Speaker's exceptional sound quality, ease of use, and relatively small size, frequently praising its seamless setup and strong bass response. While some find the price point to be high, many appreciate the lack of a microphone for privacy reasons. The speaker's compatibility with other devices and its sleek design are also frequently cited as positive aspects.

Not worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY- SONOS will stop connecting to the app and they force you to buy new system. I had to trash over $1k in speakers sine they are no longer supported.

Technical Blackmail Ahead
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a Sonos speaker owner I can no longer, in good conscience, endorse the purchase of any Sonos products. They are obsoleting speaker products purchased as recently as 2015 as of May 2020. Buyer beware.

Posted .Thank you for the feedback and for being a loyal Sonos owner! It is important to note that we are not making any of our products obsolete with the end of software updates in May. We are ending software updates for our oldest players which includes Connect and Connect:Amp manufactured through 2015. In order to determine if you have an impacted player you can log onto your Sonos account at sonos.com, select My Account > System Check and be told exactly what players are considered legacy.
If you have any legacy products on your system, your experience with Sonos will not be impacted initially in May. In fact, we do not expect any immediate impact from ending software updates. We do want to be clear that the functionality of features and services, particularly music services and voice partners, may change as technology evolves over time.
You can find the full list of impacted products and a deeper explanation of this change on the Sonos blog at https://blog.sonos.com/en/end-of-software-updates-for-legacy-products/!

Masters Degree
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Step one customer support not open during weekends when do you think people use the speakers the most. Step 2 the range of the speakers needs to be extended. Step 3 this is the worst app I have ever saw never connects I need a hair cut by the time it connects.

Flaky power supply. Horrible customer support.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Power supply blew after 14 months -- only 2 months after warranty expiration. Sonos wouldn't honor it, nor would they repair. Instead, they offered a replacement at ⅔ the origional cost. I will never purchase another Sonos product.

Sonos drops support for other parts :(
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos is dropping support for the bulk of my Sonos components, so I am having to replace nearly everything. This Play:1 is going to go to the recycler too. Not happy. Best Buy continues to be a good place to go and actually see stuff before you buy it. Keep it up!

Posted .Thank you for your feedback and for being a loyal Sonos owner! We did announce that we are ending software updates for some of the oldest Sonos players. You can check which components you own that impacted by logging into your Sonos account and sonos.com and selecting My Account > System Check. While we did announce that we would end software updates for these products in May there will be no initial impact to your system. Your system will continue to function as it currently does but has the potential for some experiences, particularly from our music and voice service partners, to be impacted as technology evolves over time.
Additionally, if you would like more information regarding End of Software Support you can find it on the Sonos blog at https://blog.sonos.com/en/end-of-software-updates-for-legacy-products/

DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system does not work and does not support even basic connections with Apple. A $20 speaker works better than Sonos. Also, no trust in the company to maintain their current systems.

Excellent sound - when they are connected to WiFi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loses connection every time my WiFi hiccups (which is quite frequent - thanks AT&T) and have to go through a complicated dog and pony show to get them working again (2 Ones and sound bar). If you like playing your music or watching surround sound tv, do yourself a favor and buy Bluetooth capable and a different brand. #1000dollardoorstops

SONOS system FOR SALE!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SONOS products are built to quality standards, but the software the controls them is HORRIBLE! Every time I go to fire it up, I have to do software updates. NOW, the whole system is failing to connect to my WiFi. It was previously it's own mesh system. NOW, NONE of the speakers are working. Going through a ridiculous process of setting up everything again. What a terrible mistake this sonos system has been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't work with desktop or laptop computers.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This speaker cannot be used from a desktop. It does not connect to iTunes at all. It can only be controlled by the Sonos App which is only available for your phone. You will need to download your music into the Sonos app for it to be played over the speaker. Nowhere is it mentioned that it only works with phones, until you start following the instructions to set up the speaker and try to download the app.

Posted .Hi, and thank you for your review. You can also use apple airplay 2 as opposed to downloading songs directly to your phone.

Posted .Thank you for writing this review. Unfortunately One SL is not designed to work with your TV unless you are using one of our soundbars. It's designed to be a music speaker in a smaller space like a bathroom or an office.
