I've been familiar with Sonos for 8+ years and have installed many Sonos audio systems and speakers, and played support for Sonos products at times a well. Sound, functionality, streaming services supported, and tech support (if needed) are all second to none. Sonos products have been well thought out, and it shows, in the quality of their product and the software that runs on it. Outstanding speaker for your music to relax to, rock out to, dance to, play your audio books on, party, and then come bedtime, select your favorite background sounds or white noise track, hit repeat, turn on crossfade and let it roll all night long. I prefer silence to sleep by but the rest of my family does not! These speakers are the best.

Crappy design ruins awesome speaker

I'm mad at Sonos for ruining their product. I loved the Play:1 speakers as they had a screw mount on the back for you to take a bolt and screw it to a speaker mount. This new version does not that option. It's a design choice that seems to force the consumer into buying a Sonos-brand mount. It's super lame and I hope they go back to the older design, which was perfect from an external standpoint. Otherwise, I appreciate Sonos making a speaker without the spyware microphone. So +1-star for that. TL, DR: If you can find the Play:1s, get that instead.
