The speaker packs, a punch for such a small size. Easy to integrate with other speakers and fill the house with crisp high Fidelity music. This is my fifth speaker of theirs. True play tuning is a game changer as well. Sometimes pairing gets wonky and takes 2-3 tries though.

I have many Sonos speakers and this one is a perfect size for small spaces. The speaker may be small however it provides great sound! Additionally, these speakers are very easy to setup.

I got this on sale ($50 off at BestBuy!!) to use with a Sonos One in stereo mode. Setting it up was ridiculously simple, and the stereo pair sounds amazing!! Plenty of bass for a mid-size room with great clarity for music, especially for the size. This speaker (as well as the One) is Airplay 2 compatible, so use can stream audio from an iPhone/iPad/appletv too.

I bought these speakers after purchasing a Sonos Beam and Sub woofer. I thought that those two would be enough but I really wanted surround without paying for the Sonos Play:5. These speakers a really loud for there size. The tweeter really brings out the highs for sounds coming from behind. I also use these for listening to music with the whole surround system. I've thought about buying these as bathroom speakers considering there size and great design. All in all these are great speakers just a little pricey.

I purchased the Sonos One (Gen 2) w/ voice command during Christmas time when it was on sale. I fell in love with the sound, quality, durability, and size of this speaker. Later, I decided I want to buy a second one. I continue to monitor the Sonos speaker to see when it will be back on sale. Needless to say, the rarely go on sale. However, in April they were on sale. I was going to purchase another Sonos One w/ voice command until I did my research and realized you only need one w/ voice command. So, I purchased the Sonos One XL. The only difference in the One and the One XL is that the XL doesn't have voice command. Which I didn't need two with voice command due to the fact I paired them and they sound awesome. I am now a Sonos fan. I Just hope they go on sale more often because, they are expensive.

Really did not want them due to spending money on new ones when 9 times out of 10 they sound awful. The SO got them anyway and they are so clear, and not too much. Small but loud and can hide them easily.

As I expected, this speaker is as easy to setup and use as I've come to expect from Sonos. I am also pleasantly surprised by the sound quality from such a small, inexpensive speaker. Lows are better than they should be, vocals good. The highs are a bit weak but they are not harsh (for example, cymbals can get lost). It is excellent for background music while doing work, chores, etc. But for critical listening it falls short. That is no surprise, given its size and price of course. There are better small smart speakers out there (Dynaudio XEO, as just one example) but at 5-10X the price. I wish I had two for a stereo pair. Or had just bought the Five instead.

Most convenient way to enjoy open quality sound anywhere around the house. Plays on all online music platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and most other recognized online internet music sources. Works with Alexa and Google. Pretty impressive well balanced bass tone and space filling sound. Nice sound quality and good sound power produced from its small size, easy to move anywhere around the house. Compact, space saving, and pleasant contemporary design that appeals with most home settings. Easy to expand with additional units to have quality sound music in any room. Really like its well balanced powerful and smooth bass sound considering its small size.

I originally purchase three speakers for my salon(Since my salon is big,) I wanted to make sure you can hear from all areas. These speakers sound amazing. Clear. Alot of base. I set two of them up and ended up returning one. Two was all I needed. I love that you can listen to the same song thru both speakers. You can also change the volume on the app. Super easy to use. 100% recommend. Plus they stay connected from day to day. I do not have to reconnect each and everyday compared to other speakers I have used.

Simply, one of the best investments I made. At first, I was not convinced on buying them due to the high cost of having a complete 5.1 system, but after a couple months using them by themselves as well as in the system, they were a great purchase. Sound is crisp, loud and clear while having good bass. They do produce a significant amount of vibration due to bass, so I've had to equalize through the Sonos app to reduce this sometimes. While using with the soundbar and the sub, they compliment the syatem pretty good. No connectivity issues and they do a pretty good job for the surround experience.

Bought this refurbished from Best Buy. This is the speaker without the google voice assistant. It has good deep bass for a speaker of its size; decent mid range and hi sound. It’s quite heavy when you pick it up. I was surprised as to how heavy it was. For the best sound make sure to keep it at least 3 inches from the wall. Sound carries better when you do this. It was easy to setup as well, even as a refurb with a previous owner having connected their account. Factory reset and went through the setup. Already have other Sonos products in house so this was chosen for an open area in the foyer and living room. Would buy another one....

Bought this open box Sonos play 1 and was able to save $40 and came all packaged up with all accessories. Sounds as good as others in the house that I paid full price. I’m looking for two more play 1s to go in the bedroom and give me surround sound in there and will pull the trigger again on an open box! For those not familiar with Sonos you’re getting high quality and the ease of setup and no speaker wires! Everything controlled by their app. Highly recommend Sonos to anyone starting out with home entertainment.

We added this speaker to our existing Sonos system with ease..maybe 5 minutes worth of effort. We chose this over the 'smart' Play 1 as we do not need a voice assistant in the room and the hardware is the same otherwise. As for the sound, it does not disappoint! Like the title suggests, this speaker will fill a bedroom or moderately sized living room with sound. We added this to our Morning Room (10' x 12') and we rarely put the volume above 30% unless paired with another room or with heavy background noise. TLDR; great speaker for up to 300sq ft And super easy to set up.

Not only is this a portable speaker with superior sound and base; however, it can also be added to an existing Sonos system and used in any room and once out or alternatively, an ad hoc surround sound system.

I had an injury last year that left me chair/couch bound for a long time, and I wanted to have a decent sound and TV setup for when the surgery came. After doing a lot of research on sound systems, I was not having much luck finding what I wanted: a system that worked as surround sound for TV/movies and that I could disconnect and move around the house so I could listen to music in multiple rooms at the same time without being battery powered. Then, I stumbled onto Sonos at a theater showroom in BestBuy. After listening to the employee and doing some independent research, I tested out the sound, and I fell in love! I purchased the soundbar with two One SLs for surround, and shortly after, went back to pickup a separate sub. Love the quality of sound that comes out of this system for both streaming services and Spotify. Plus, the convenience of being able to move them around as I want and play them independently or grouped is unmatched. I have told everyone that has used mine about them and to purchase them.

Absolutely amazing! The incredible sound that comes from these little speakers is amazing. From super high highs to a much deeper base than you would ever expect. Pair these speakers and add as many as you like for a total house high fidelity experience. I truly feel like you could not match the sound quality at any price and the connectivity is so easy, great app. I can't say enough about how much I love everything about these Sonos S1's.

Absolutely great speaker for surround sound. It has a superb sound quality. I highly recommend the speaker for home surround sound. It is very pricey for the whole system although it is worth it. It is sleek and looks very clean having the one simplistic wire that fits nicely under the speaker. There is no lag which makes everything sound even better. The setup is fast and easy. I overall highly recommend this product for for TV setups.

The little guy looks & feels sleek. The instructions were old and seemingly for another speaker but once I figured it out, it was easy to connect and start using. No new features that are out of the ordinary. The sounds really excels. Not being portable would be the only downfall.

So I had purchased the Sonos Playbar just over a year ago. Yes, a bit more than I had intended to spend. But after hearing a demo at the Best Buy store, I was completely sold that I needed to drop $600. Normally the Playbar goes for $800. I got lucky with the sale. Six months later I upgraded to the matching sub. And it took my movie nights to a whole new level. Now I have added two of these Sonos-One speakers to complete the package. $1700 is quite a bit of money for surround sound. It when it comes to Sonos, you clearly get what you pay for. Would I recommend this set up to anyone? Hell yes I would! It’s a sleek setup that sounds just works. Sonos makes it so easy to get your speakers up and running. And these One SL’s were unboxed and mounted in a matter of minutes. I chose to go with a wall mount set up in my living room which is fairly large. Using these to compliment the Playbar, it’s an awesome pair. And you can adjust these volume wise if you feel you aren’t getting the right surround sound out of them. That’s all done thru the app. And I like that. I also love the Sonos app that I use quite often just to stream my pandora stations when I’m in the mood to play some loud music. These Sonos One speakers automatically switch from rears to stereo speakers when you use the built in Pandora app on your mobile device. And the sound becomes even more epic! And did I mention crisp and loud? Oh yeah! And it’s a clean crisp sound. Especially paired with the sub and Playbar.
