We put two of these in a 3200sf space and they filled the room perfectly for background music. User interface with my phone and iPad is super easy and fantastic. It integrates with every streaming service I use.

This may be the best purchase I have made in many years. I have 3 PLAY-1's--2 paired as stereo speakers. The sound is outstanding, but I am awed by the system's ease of use. It just works like you would expect and that's the highest praise I can give a product.

Bought for our bathroom. The setup was very easy and intuitive. There were no hiccups. The app works great. The sound that comes from this little thing is jaw-dropping. We went right back to the store and bought another one for downstairs.

This small Sonos speaker packs a great punch. The sound is clear and crisp. We have the Sonos sound bar and five of the Sonos 1 speakers throughout our house. The Sonos is expensive but worth every penny. The entire Sonos line is amazing!

This is the best sounding wifi speaker in its class. This speaker has great range for its size. It handles bass heavy music flawlessly while maintaining outstanding clarity. The Sonos app offers a great interface with superb connectivity.

I was evaluating Denon HEOS, Bose SoundTouch, and the Sonos products as I prepared to dip my toe into the wireless audio waters. I tried the HEOS 1 first and my wife didn't care for their sound at all, so they were returned and eliminated. Next it was between Sonos and Bose. With Black Friday specials, the Sonos was the less expensive option, but also the most favorably reviewed option, both from an audio and as well as application perspective. Installation is both very quick and very easy. The speakers updated as part of the installation process and I was up and running on my network within minutes streaming audio from multiple sources to multiple rooms. I do wish that the Sonos offered bluetooth functionality (Bose does) so that visitors to my home could utilize the speakers without needing to use the Sonos app.

Best sounding speaker in this form factor. Have owned Bose and others, this unit is the best sounding and highest bass, plus you can let it operate without a source connected because of the Sonos app.

Very good. Mobile app works well. Sound quality is very good. Some local terrestrial radio stations do not stream live but that is more about the online services than Sonos. I went back to the store and bought another.

Love this speaker. Has a great sound. Only wish it didn't have to be plugged in.

This is an awesome addition to the Sonos line. This is their smallest speaker but even at this size, you will feel the heft and weight of a high quality speaker. At this size, it delivers a fill sound: crisp highs and well balanced mids, the bass is present and forward, and will not distort. Although the design can suggest a speaker that looks like 360 omni directional, make no mistake: it is not. Sonos makes it easy to pair with another Sonos PLAY:1 to make a stereo pair, and this is where the speaker shines! It shows amazing fullness and balance; the pair can easily fill up a medium size space. If purchased as a single speaker, it is best to place it near a corner or close to a wall to bounce the lows and round off the acoustics. Sonos is slowing creeping a place in most audiophiles range and become a HiFI wireless standard.

The Sonos system rocks. I own Play 5 speakers, these were my first Play 1 speakers. Put one in the Bar and one in the Master. They are great for room usage. Great sound and love the Sonos app. Easy set up, room grouping and customization

Hands down, best surround sound on the market. Sonos is the new Bose but better.

I made our new house a Sonos house. We have a playbar, sub, connect amps, and play 1s. The user interface is great, as is the sound quality from the speakers. It is definitely an easy way to have high quality sound throughout your house.
