My daughter and son-in-law have this setup at home. Excellent sound and setup at their place. They even used the components they owned at their wedding venue. Speakers are unobstrusive, but attractive. Sound clarity is excellent. Have 3 speakers now throughout my house and I like being able to go from room-to-room with no interruption and the ability to level each speaker independently according to the size of the room. Considering the sound bar and the bass as additions based on the quality of my purchases so far.

I purchased a play 1 due to hearing about it from a distributor. Got it home set it up and enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much within the next couple of days I purchased another play 1. I now own a complete sonos surround sound setup along with speakers for all areas of my home.

LOVE these speakers, the features, the design and SOUND! You'd never expect to get sound this good in a small speaker like this. The only drawback ( a small one) is the set up can be a little tedious if you have two accounts/businesses you use the speakers for. It is confusing how to set them up when you must use 2 different accounts. Also, the app needs a little work....the music frequently stops itself during the day in my office and I have to go into the app and push play again. Not a huge deal, but frustrating at times.

This is my third sonos speaker. I have previously purchased a 5 and a 3. The sound quality on these speakers is impressive. The one does not have tremendous bass capabilities but considering the size of the speaker it is better than you would expect. The ability to add music services is amazing such as Sirius XM app, apple music, amazon music, pandora, spotify, etc. The app works great and is easy to setup. I wish I had to money to buy to buy more of these and set them up throughout my house. One speaker at a time!!

I have two of these in the same room. They are extremely easy to set up and directions are simple and straightforward. They function very well as speakers for my iPhone music library and also come with a ton of free radio stations that come in very clearly. I don't really use paid music services but I assume they would work well also. I also don't use them for my TV - I use them for music exclusively. So I don't have the sound bar. The sound quality is pretty decent, but I can't say I'm blown away by it. I definitely don't care for the results of the auto tuning feature. I've tried this feature on my speakers in two different houses and the result has been the same in both places - too little bass and too much treble for my taste. So I manually tune instead. All in all I'm happy with the speakers and they are serving their intended purpose. I really love that they are super portable, and play with absolutely NO skipping hesitation, or sound interference, even when pretty far from my wifi modem (several rooms away). But if you're a sound quality snob, you may not be pleased. 5 stars for function and ease of use, but four stars for sound quality.

This Play 1(Open Box) is roughly a quarter the price of a play 5 and it works great. I play music off my iPhone to these speakers all the time. With the Sonos interface, I can connect to many different radio stations around the world. I even listened to Wimbledon radio.

I was originally skeptical of the usefulness of the Sonos products, but was convinced by a friend to try one out. I really wish I had jumped on this bandwagon before! The Sonos sounds great, especially for such a small speaker. Build quality is excellent, and the speaker feels very sturdy and heavy. Downloading the app and connecting the speaker was a breeze, and I was up and running in minutes. It sounds so good, and is so easy to use, I've now bought another one for use in another room, and we often connect one outside while enjoying time on the deck. An excellent purchase!

I opted for this model as I did not need the built in alexa. I already have several echo devices in my home. My wife loves the quality of the audio and how loud this little sucker gets. I will definitely be adding to the set as they go on sale.

Let me say first I did my research before buying this speaker. I own UE Boom, Boise, and other off brand speakers, buy this one sounds the best. I have two and plan to buy more. Owned the first for over and year, super impressed with the sound and just found out you can adjust the EQ... awesome! Everything I’ve seen or heard from sonos is top notch. Would get five stars if it could go wireless. At first almost sent back because it wouldnt, but soooo glad I didn’t. Highly recommend

Sonos makes a great sounding products with easy set up and this one is no different..you will not be disappointed but watch out you can't just buy one lol!!

Solo play one is awesome brand Great sounding speakers the type of speakers that you can place anywhere in the house in the sound And the sound will blow you away, I recommend the speakers to everyone, a great buy. Buy today u want regret it.

After comparing the 1 and 3 in the store, the 3 sounded better. Yet when the 1 went on sale I gave it a try thinking I could always return it for a 3. I set it up in my living room and I'm loving it. Can't wait to start expanding the system.

I had originally went in to purchase a portable Bose speaker but I tried this little guy and totally blew me away. They have wonderful sound very clear it really good base for the side. I'd recommend for anyone looking for a good speaker for a medium sized room.

For a little speaker these sound great. Plenty of sound for the kids room, you set an alarm to wake them up, and I can also turn it down remotely if its too loud. Easy set up. My kids love being able to stream music with using the small wireless bluetooth speakers.

Love the flexibility, versatility and audio quality of these speakers, whether used alone or paired with another Play 1 for stereo sound. Only desire would be that it be Airplay compatible - but that's not a big deal. It's still very easily to stream from my computer.

Before kids I was an audiophile. I spent crazy amounts of money on speakers, amps and niche devices in search of audio nirvana. Fast forward to 15 years later after the advent of iTunes and three kids and now I just want convenience in a small form factor that still sounds great. I've tried airplay and more Bluetooth speakers than I care to admit and finally one day, I heard a pair of these at a buddies house and I was sold after a short demo. It's really the best of all worlds in a nicely designed package with a unique "forget about it" user experience.

Just try it. You won't want to return it. Make sure you get the bridge so you can hook to router. Plays from Android, iPhone, PC, network hard drive. Best sounding speaker in the house. I've tried many bluetooth speakers and toss blows them away. Wifi range can't be beat.

Great addition to my other Sonos gear. Sound quality outstanding for a little speaker. Put it on the floor, it really shows off the bass capabilities. Easy to set up, etc.

This tiny little speaker is great. For a normal size bedroom, this speaker has more than enough capacity. It's, compact, easy to use, and looks nice!
