The Play 1 speaker was easy to set up and produces a really great sound. I move this speaker around from room to room and into the garage and out on the patio so I can listen to music while relaxing or working. My IPad control what I listen to. Really great stuff!

The Sonos system is so flexible and versatile, we are buying individual components with the intention of daisy-chaining them throughout the house. Some of the pieces are small enough to be pretty unobtrusive. Others fit nicely on your stereo shelves. You can choose which sizes work best for your space without sacrificing sound quality. The least expensive model is still fantastic and the quality only improves from there. Syncs easily with your devices (phone, tablet, laptop, tv) so it plays the sound from any of those via a pretty intuitive interface.

We have been considering investing (cause it ain't cheap) in a wireless speaker or two for our house for over three years. SONOS has always been on the top of my list but I never pulled the trigger. Lucky me on Christmas morning when I found a pair under the tree just for me! Set up was a breeze...in fact, it was enjoyable. The sound fills the room and the flexibility to play different songs in different rooms is very cool.This fits the rule of "you get what you pay for". We paid for great sound, stylish looks and ease of use...AND WE GOT IT! Five stars!!

I bought these after my son filled his house with music via Sonos. I just don't know why I waited so long. I did buy Play 1, but if Siri comes on board I'll buy a One (the one with the microphone) and have the best-ever sound system.

Pumps out some great sound for the backyard patio/ pool parties. But it needs to be plugged in. I'd like to see a battery back up option at minimum. I'd also like to see an option to connect to this speaker via my laptop instead of phone app only. I don't want to have to route everything through the Sonos app either. If these things don't concern you, then it's a good purchase.

I have 2 Play 1s and an Play 3. The Play 3 is in the kitchen and the other Play 1s are in my study and bedroom. I love the excellent quality of the sound and user friendly software. Highly recommended.

We have now purchased several Sonos speakers and love how easy it is to set them up and use them and how good they sound!

I continue to add to my Sonos collection. I have these for a surround system with the soundbar in our media room. Super easy set-up that walks you through setting up room surround and lets you customize. All set up including remote control in 20 minutes.

Was looking for speaker for small room. This gives great deep sound in a compact size.

Great little satellite speakers for a whole room setup. Added the soundbar and a sub. Sounds AMAZING in the surround theatre mode! This was the perfect solution for my split-level home, and saved me hours of wall-fishing nightmares.

I was skeptical about how good Sonos speakers would sound. I'm not a major audiophile but I can recognize quality speakers. And I think Sonos performs extremely well for our family's needs. I started with one Play:1 speaker and was so impressed with the sound and ease of setting up that I bought another one for another room. Now I've added a 3rd Play:1 as I plan to build out the system by using two of them as surround speakers when I eventually buy the Playbar and Sub speakers. So yes, I'm so impressed that I plan to buy more in the near future!

Great small profile speaker. The play 5 has better sound but the play 1 is still a mighty speaker for the price.

We added two of these to a Sonos Playbar--and the result was great room-filling sound. The surround effects work well, and they made the Playbar itself sound even better. We did a lot of research before making this investment. It was definitely the right call.

Love the entire Sonos eco system. If you like great sound and music streaming in any or all rooms of your home - this is the system for you. Everyone has access from any mobile device on the network and control is the top feature.

Love my new Sonos speakers - Xmas gift from the Mrs. !! Been eyeing these since it's inception ! Sonos does it well when it comes to modem wireless home hi def speakers ! These speakers are awesome and kick out awesome sound !! Can't wait to add on some more !

I can't say enough about these speakers. I went in with the intention of "starting" to build my surround sound system in my living room, and was so impressed with the product, I ended up purchasing a sound bar, subwoofer, 2 Play 1's and a Play 3 for my bedroom. And now that I've had them a couple months, I'm thinking of purchasing another Play 3 to boost my surround sound system, move the two Play 1's to smaller rooms, and buy a Play 5 for the dining area. Hefty investment, but the sound quality, as well as the ease and versatility of the Sonos system is amazing.

We have Sonos is every room of the house. These speakers are excellent quality. It's so great to have different music playing in every room. These small speakers put out strong sound for their size, too. Excellent for small rooms.

I have purchased three of the Sonos speakers, two of the Sonos Play:1 and a Sonos Play:5. They are great to spread sound around the various rooms of an apartment without having to wake the neighbors. I'm trying to figure out where else I can tuck one away.

Already have SONOS 5, 3 and 1. Added another 1 because the sound is so good for the size and value. Would love to add a complete surround systems and this system allows add-ons to easily build an amazing sound system at my house.
