I have two play 1s set up with a play bar and a sub for TV surround sound. They sound great set up this way and then I also use them as a stereo pair for music. They just sound superb.

Bought this to use in my home office. The sound is really good, in fact I think the overall sound is very bit as good as a Play 3 for a better price. I was surprised by the range of the speaker and that it sounded great at both low and higher volumes. I have Play 5's also on the rest of my system and this is a great addition to any Sonos package. Strongly recommend you try the Play 1 out before you by a Play 3. Great value, sound and performance in a small package.

The Sonos system is a must have. I ditched my Bose surround system as the Sonos's sound system rivals Bose. I love the fact that the system wireless aside from having to plug it in. Adding speakers to the system is so easy and up to 35 can be added to the system. Room isolation and grouping speakers is awesome. Play 8 different music styles through out the house and outside or grouping altogether during home events. System is controllable by phone, tablet, or computer. Best purchase ever to date.

These speakers are fantastic!!!! Set up is easy and both my wife and I can enjoy our own music through the he Sonos app on each speaker individually or you can group them together and play the same music in multiple rooms. Great investment.

We love the portability of this speaker. We also have the Sonos sound bar and plan to get the new Play:One and more to complete our whole home stereo system. Compatible with Alexa and it’s easy to control with your phone!

Very impressed with how awesome the Play 1 sounds!!! I have 3 so far spread throughout my house and plan to buy at least 2 more. The wireless connection is easy to setup and now I no longer have to be limited to just 30ft range like with Bluetooth.

I added two Play:1 speakers to my existing Sonos sound bar and the result was much better than I expected. In addition, to providing great surround sound for 5.1 shows, all regular TV shows have some level of background sounds which originally were broadcast through the sound bar, but now are routed through the play:1 speakers. This provides for a better quality dialog delivery from the sound bar which is no longer performing both sound delivery features. I was INCREDIBLY easy to setup; Sonos is a terrific technology company.

The sonos play 1 is awesome! It easily integrates with other Sonos speakers and can set up a new room in minutes. Sound quality is excellent!

I saw these Sonos speakers on sale so I figured I would splurge and give them a try. I did a lot of research ahead of time and the Sonos platform seemed the best for me since you can slowly add speakers to your setup quickly and easily. The speakers look small but produce some great sound! They lack the low end but what can you expect from a small speaker like this. I have since added the Sonos Soundbar and looking to add the Sub in the near future. I have been extremely impressed with the quality and ease of use from Sonos!

Over a year of testing and slow additions throughout the house, and am quite pleased esp. with these Sonos1 speakers. Easy set-up, easy App and PC use, and the Play1s sound great alone. Latest purchase was to use 2 Play1s as left-right speakers in home office. Better than I expected! Not happy with losing Blue Note dedicated Jazz channel that came free with earlier purchases. But I read it may come back? Finally, I think the Play 1 and Play 3 sound better than the Play 5 unless you use the 5 in a large yard or open space.

By far and away the best setup for home audio. Setup is easy and app is intuitive. Love the fact I can pick up and move where I want.

This is my 5th sonos product. I love the system and wanted a play:1 for the craftroom. Sonos isn't the least expensive player out there, but it provides GREAT quality and value. I think my next purchase is the PlayBar.

We had always been a fan of Bose speakers and still are, but the Sonos wireless speakers had the nose beat! We have a 75 in Sony and we feel like we are in a movie theater in our living room. These speakers are awesome!

Sonos are the absolute best speakers, hands down. I own multiple Sonos speakers, as I continue to add them to different rooms of my house. The sound quality is absolutely incredible. They are simply the best speakers!

Easy set up. When you have two and "stereo pair' it really rivals any speaker-never distorts when turned way up. Love small size too.

If you know anything about Sonos, you know they make great speakers. This little Play:1 is a great addition to the family. I have the Connect:Amp as well (which I also recommend for whole-home audio), and I added this Play:1 to my dining room. It provides more than enough sound to fill up more than just my dining room. Has great sound quality, good base (not as good as some of the bigger Sonos speakers, but that is to be expected), and of course the convenience of being able to control it from your phone.

The Sonos is easy to set up. The Sonos PC speaker control app is easy to use, making changes in music seamless. I have used the Sonos technical site for questions, and they are concerned, helpful and always follow-up.

These speakers were so easy to set up and now we have surround sound. The quality of the sound is excellent. Our neighbor paid over 5000 for a surround sound system built in and when something goes wrong expensive. I love my new speakers
