Purchased the Sonos for my husband and we LOVE it. Any combination of rooms, music and volume can be arranged through an app on our phones. Should have done this years ago!

i have three sonos play1 at my home,i love it how it can easy remote turn on and off the music for me kid, without stepping into their room. and how easy that i can synch all three play the same music at the same time.

Big sound coming out of a small package. This speaker can easily fill a standard sized room by itself....or pair it with another one to give you true stereo sound.

Wonderful sound. Easy set up. Music keeps playing when an incoming call comes in on my smart phone.

One Play:1 provdes better sound than our old surround sound system (Denon); will definitely be adding on and pairing more of them for an even better audio experience around the house. Great and intuitive UI also!

bought 3 of these on a year end deal thru Sonos and Best Buy. That makes 8 play:1's, 2 play:5's soundbar & sub. these 1's are excellent standalones, in pairs, or as surround back channels. Works with dang near any music service you'd like, and they work with gobs of my other smart devices. I've looked at other wannabes, even tried 1 or 2, but always return them and come back to Sonos. My one wish list item is that Sonos add a line in to the 1's and 3's like the 5's have.

We are music lovers and this has brought our listening experience to a new level, throughout the entire house. We bought the complete system (bar, sub, and 3 Play1 speakers) and are planning to go back and buy another bar and sub for our basement. They warned us once we started we'd be back for more. You can play music off the app (where you can link to any playlist on your phone) from anywhere in the house. Great for movie watching too!

I already have a number of Sonos components (Newest Play:5, Play:1, Sub, and Boost). As I wanted to add sound to another room, I bought my 5th Play:1. As with prior installs, setup was a breeze, and the sound was as expected; excellent for the medium sized bedroom. The only minor glitch is that I loose my connection to a music service (Spotify, Amazon Prime, and Groove) on rare occasions. Otherwise, I can fill the entire house with great sounding music (all 5000 sq ft. of it).

I brought this to complete a 5.1 system. Tremendous sound and flexibilty. I move this beauty to the bathroom and garage as needed . Excellent sound follows me all around the house. Sonos quality product period.

I decided to purchase a basic SONOs system to eventually expand n my house. I've heard the speaker in action and even with all the background noise from the store, I was able to appreciate the power of this small speaker. I am very impressed by the bass and it sounds awesome. I definitely recommend this as a starter wireless audio system. The SONOs app is user friendly and the set-up was so simple. Two thumbs up!

Sonos - PLAY:1 Wireless Speaker is a great add on to my existing SONOS system. Added this speaker to the Bedroom, so we can listen upstairs independently of the main Sono's system downstairs.

We installed a sound system in our home and wanted to add music to the laundry room. Just plug it in and play! Sounds just as good as the rest of the house. And I can move it around if I want.

I wired my new home with Sonos amps and built in speakers. I fell in love with the ease of the technology that now I bought these free standing speakers for my other house. We just love them.

This smallest of the wireless Sonos speaker family sets up easily and is so simple to program. It sounds much bigger than it`s size would suggest. It`s portable. I have 2 in my TV/Audio surround sound system and another that I move around my home. I can listen to what`s on my TV , my phone or pick an internet radio station. it is so easy to work with and with the exception of my smart phone may just be my favorite audio product ever!! ps Best Buy and Crutchfield have some great stands for these little guys.

Sounds great, even in a larger room or outside. Love the well designed software interface. You can use the free version of Pandora or the pay version of Spotify or play any music/sound files on your phone or tablet.

Like the most successful dates, this device was easy to set up and lovely to listen to. I would date it again.

I’m all in on the Sonos system throughout our house and Play 1’s are a huge part of it. They are very versatile and sound good solo - even better when setup as a speaker pair. I prefer to keep Alexa disconnected from our Sonos system and prefer these to the Sonos One. These are both a good way to try out the Sonos system, but also are a key component in the setup if you decide to invest in a more complete Sonos setup.

I got the Sonos soundbar and two Play1 speakers a couple of months ago because I wanted a way to play my music from iPad/iPhone in the house, and I was interested in improving the sound from the flatscreen, although I don't watch much TV. After reviewing systems, I knew that the Sonos was the cream of the crop, and the demo in the store proved that. I haven't been sorry. Yes, it cost a little more, but love the wireless capabilities and the fantastic bluetooth sound. It is everything i wanted and much more.
