We bought this initially for a larger room but wanted more sound so we upgraded to a play 3 for that room. Moved this Play one to the kitchen and it is great. Totally fills the room with full sound.

The Sonos speakers sound great. One of the best I've heard. Customer support is terrible but once you figure it out and get it all working, you'll be pleased with its sound

We had fun hooking this up using their app. The sound is great and fun to put the speakers around the house. We have 2 in the living room and 1 in the kitchen. Great sound!

So simple to connect, or to relocate later. Plug it in the AC power, then follow the directions on the app. You can also make a stereo pair with 2 of these in the same room, less than 30 seconds.

Sonos is the best pound for pound wireless wifi system. I started with the sound bar and sub and have since added play 1's in my loft, bedroom and bathroom while adding a play 5 in my great room. All fill each with perfect sound by using the true tune function on the app. The app is user friendly and is super flexible to meet all of my wants and needs. This system has exceeded all of my expectations. You won't be disappointed.

I bought three speakers and they were very easy to set up. Just like on the video. I did have an issue with a sluggish response with my wi fi while the speakers were playing and I bought a booster.

I purchased this to expand my Sonos system. It took under a minute to get up and running. Sounds great.

Easy to hook-up to the Play Bar. Just follow the controller wizard. Sound is clear and amazing. I have two in my TV room and set up as a surround sound system. No more wires all over the place.

This is a great speaker, sounds great and easy to setup and use. I have two of them now and will buy more. Only reason I give it four stars is the price. A little on the pricey side but worth it in the end. Definitely will purchase more speakers.

After much research, Sonos seemed to be the best method of getting XM radio in the house. The XM units need the antenna in a south facing window, and Bluetooth units suffer from short range. The Sonos proprietary wireless network works seamlessly in our house, which makes it easy to move from room to room. Setup couldn't be easier. The device and app tell you just what to do. Sound is reasonably good. Not quite Bose quality sound, but the wireless more than makes up for it.

These are by far the best bang for your buck. Having the ability to connect multiple devices with ease, fluidity between rooms, and an extremely user friendly app made this a no brainer. Some may think that the $170-200 range for these is a bit much, but they're worth every penny. The sound quality, adjustability for room dynamics, and style have these competing with the big names out there. Looking forward to buying more of these.

I like the speaker a lot. Pretty good full sound for small speaker. I love the fact that there is no subwoofer to lug around. Very easy to move around my house until I can afford to buy more speakers. Didn't expect to use the radio channels that much but I do all the time.

Sonos offers great quality sound with ease of use. Not having to run or hide wires is a huge bonus.

Not really meant for a large room (unless being used as surround for play bar). The speaker has good amount of sound for it's size. Makes for a easy addition to my other Sonos zones in my home.

We have been listening to classical music through the Sonos for a couple of weeks. Love it! We are not audiophiles, but for the casual background listening this is great.

I recently bought the PlayBar and Sub for my living room. I liked the system so much, I bought Play1's for the rest of my house. I believe this is the best system out there for the money.

I was given one Play 1 by a friend and purchased a second and a bridge from Best Buy. Took longer to open the packaging than it took to set up the system. The sound from these two speakers is fine for the small area I have, but if you like a richer sound or have a larger room or area to fill, you might consider the larger speakers. I can easily switch between Pandora, Sirius or my iTunes library. And friends with access to my network can play their music as well.

Set up was easy and the sound is quite good for such a small speaker. We selected this item because of portability.

Great sound - better than Play3 - in a moisture resistant small package. If I were building my Sonos system today, I'd us these everywhere instead of the larger and more than expensive units.

Easy set up and most importantly great sound from such a small package! Recommend them every time!!!!
