The best for your money is the Sonos system. The play1 is perfect for starting a build and works great to try out the system. Great sound for the size. You will not be disappointed.

I was surprised at how good this little speaker sounded. It puts out good clear sound along with a descent amount of bass. Easy to get hooked up and app works well.

I now own four of the play-1 speakers and have given them twice as gifts. This is a great wireless speaker for the price. What once took drilling holes and running wire is now unnecessary with a Sonos system. I purchased these to replace a Bose surround sound system and the sound quality is on par, in my opinion. Plus the easy of moving them if the conditions in the room change without moving wires is an added benefit.

The sound from this speaker is fantastic. This is the speaker WITHOUT Alexa built in. BB employees told us differently so make sure you know what you’re getting. We paired it with an Alexa Dot and it works perfectly. Bluetooth would make this speaker better especially when you are entertaining, to allow others to connect to it and play their music.

This is the smallest speaker in the Sonos line. So far it's proven to be more than adequate for a modest sized room. I demo'd it for one of my musician friends and he was impressed w/ the overall fidelity and bass response. I found the Sonos setup app to be straightforward. My intention is to add more Sonos gear (including some of the larger speakers) to my home audio setup as soon as personal budget constraints allow.

These little speakers are amazing! They simply rock and the sound is unbelievable! We bought two and went right back to the store and bought four more! And we're probably still not done.

A year ago I bought a Play 5 was impressed with its performance. I wanted something simple and wireless and potable for my patio. The Play:1 fit the bill perfectly. I plan to by more to scatter around my house. I have Def Tech speakers connected a Pioneer Elite receiver for my home theater system and the Sonos performance is on par. Great speaker at a great price.

Because of the ease of use and the sound quality, you will fill your house with music more often than before. Make sure to buy a pair of these to start. Add the sub if you can afford it.

The Sonos Play 1 has earned its reputation. Fantastic little speaker that works well on my office desk, eliminating messy speaker wires without compromising sound.

I just LOVE the Sonos speakers. This is the 4th one I have bought. I have them placed in different rooms in my house. They sound so good. Wether its one or all grouped together playing.

I bought two Sonos Play 1 for my living room, the sound is amazing for such a small speaker. I play music from various online sources and music stored in my iPhone.

Setup was quick and easy with press of button on speaker. Made playlist with music files stored on my network storage device and was playing music in 5 minutes. Great sound quality too.

The speaker sounds fantastic for its size. I plan to get another at somepoint for another floor in the house and potentially using it for Left/Right combo. Very easy to set up and set up your digital library with it. I have iTunes for both my wife and myself set up as well as Sirius radio. Note that there is no audio in jack but most modern devices would be able to install the Sonos app to stream from anyways.

Play1 speakers sound just like the Sonos One, but without the Alexa/Google asst and at a lower price because of it. You can still add Sonos to Alexa with another enabled item or your phone, if desired. Play1’s really complements well the playbase for surround and also the Play S5 to get a bit more high range in the mix. For their size they do well with bass too.

These speakers are great. After talking with a friend of mine who has them, I went and bought a pair this Christmas. We have been playing music on them everyday since. They are easy to use, sound great and are portable, which makes them nice to move to different rooms if needed. I am looking to buy more for the house in the future.

I tried several different bluetooth speakers and found that the Sonos by hard had the best balanced sound. Set up was easy and sounds great inside the room. Was worried about functionality with devices and my computer and/or stereo system, but when I do want to use those devices to play (rather than from my smart phone) I found bridges that allow that to happen. Very satisfied and will be adding on in the near future.

I first bought the Play 3 because I wanted to make sure there was enough bass. I liked it so much I bought the Play 1 a few days later. The Play 1 surprisingly has some decent bass as well. The speakers are very portable and great for moving to the porch, weather permitting. My family listens to music 10x more these days. Even my 2 year old knows how to hit the play button (I'll leave it on the Raffi Pandora station for her)

Best product I’ve bought in a while. Love it!!!! Great sound, good functionality, best as a stereo pair, and good way to listen to music and podcasts. 5 stars!!!

First off, if you want low to moderate (verging on too loud) volume WITH clarity. Look no further. If you have any iDevices, even better...I don't use Apple. Enough is written about how great these are, and I have more than 1 and less than 20 of them. Use them in both single and L+R paired setup, to stream my personal collection as well as a few of their service integration partners (Amazon Music, Tidal, etc).
