Great speaker with good sound and size. Perfect for our family room. Volume is terrific.

I purchased two of these Sonos Play:1 speakers, which are the 10th or 12th Sonos purchase of mine. I got into Sonos back when they first got started for their simple wireless multiroom capabilities. Back then, there were no speakers; just amplifiers and preamp devices. I had 4 rooms with speakers. When the Play:X devices came out, I purchased two Play:1s and a Play 5. I don't use any of these for home theater… all for music in different rooms. If you've never used Sonos before, it's one of the best there is, and it was THE FIRST multiroom system. The only downside is there's no Bluetooth functionality, something I think they will add in the near future. The sound of the Play:1 speakers is outstanding, and I have 3 sets of these for smaller rooms. The low end performance is actually really good, and a pair of them rivals my Play:5. I love Sonos and I recommend them to anyone who's interested in multiroom setups. Their sound quality is unparalleled, but they are a bit pricy.

So my boss has these Sonos speakers set up in her living room and when I house sit I really enjoy the quality of the sound they produce. I bit the bullet and bought one for my living room. My room is much smaller than hers and 1 speaker fills the room with great sound. Good sounding lows and the highs are solid sounding as well. I will definitely be getting another one and pair them up .

I bought this speaker for one room and the sound quality was so good I ended up going back and buying the playbase subwoofer and three more play 1 for my house.

this is the 7th sonos c9mponent in the house. it is great to listen to the same music in multiple rooms or different music or tv in every room with great sound.

I bought two of these to try out the stereo mode. The app works great and allows me to configure different setups quite easily. Sound is great and the pair provides good sound to a large room. I like how I can configure a music stream on the speakers, and then just use the play button on a speaker to continue playing where it left off. Still trying to figure out all of the options to customize my setup further.

First year I bought 3 sonos speakers this year I added 5 more. That should tell you pretty much everything you need to know! Speakers are great, app is awesome!

Sonos play 1 gives great sound in a small package. I am mainly using 2 for my 5.1 surround and it sounds amazing. Would definitely recommend any Sonos products.

I just switched to Sonos and I have no regrets! These speakers have a high quality sound, ability to control each speaker or both together all from your phone!!

This little speaker is easy to setup and fills a room with excellent sound. I had no issues with the software on my PC or iPhone. Accurately identified my music library. The Sirius integration would be better if it accessed more than just their standard stations and accessed Sirius on demand content and customization features. The radio stations available is expansive covering even smaller broadcast stations.

This Purchase will add to my collection of 6 play 1's in my house. I prefer having the play 1 speakers spaced out through out my home so the sound is balanced.

We have multiple rooms at dental office and we have it in each room for patients and employees to choose their own music. Great!

Have multiple Sonos speakers as part of my system. This is an add on for an additional room. Works great. Also have Play 5 an Play 3 as part of the system. The PlayBar is amazing.

I read the SONOS system was the optimal wifi speaker set up and I love them! Bought a pair of Play 1's to set up as a stereo pair. Very easy to set up, linked to my wifi network right away and was rocking out in less than ten minutes. They do require power, so you'll have to locate them next to an outlet. Recommend any SONOS products over the old school wired boat anchor stereo boxes.

Purchased 2 play 1s as surround for use with playbar and sub. Sound is clear and has good depth. Best part is ability to separate the play 1s and include in a whole house sound scheme. Placing one in several rooms with a play 3 and bar provides synchronized ambient music to multiple rooms and to patio. App is easy and intuitive to engage speakers individually by room or as a whole system...strongly recommend

This has awesome sound and was easy to set up and takes very little space.

This speaker will fill your home with the sound that in the past could only be created by a full stereo system. I love the ability to move the speaker around my home or even outside.

This is a great speaker for the size, nice deep sounds, pretty impressive for size and cost. It basically is a WiFi speaker that you can control from your smart phone app, lots of streaming apps work with the system It's not a Bluetooth connection speaker to your phone that you might be used to, so just be aware if you have a large collection of music downloaded you can't play them on the system
