Easy to set up and sounds great considering its small size

What can I say? The sound quality is amazing, the app is easy to use from your phone or anyone else's, and it's not too difficult to pair it to a new room. If I need to, I can turn the volume up and hear it clearly from the upstairs, when it's playing downstairs. I use this far more often than my double set of large speakers hooked up to a receiver. It's expensive but you get every penny's worth.

Very compact unit that gives slot of sound. Priced very fair. Other speakers can be linked to this system and can be played in series or individual with different music streaming.

I have three Play 1 speakers around the pool and patio area and all perform really well. Sound quality is good and does not distort with volume. Wireless signal is important -- i had to install a wireless booster to maintain the connection. Mounting brackets are additional but installation is easy and the set up is even easier. These are so impressive I'm continuing to add to my collection with Play 3 and Play 5 for large indoor areas.

I have the Sonos bar and 1 play on. I really loved it and the sound coming from these speakers are phenomenal. I had to go purchase a second play 1 within one week. 4 months later, I added the 3rd play one and I can only imagine I might add one or two more. The point is these speakers are great and the ease of adding to what you have is so good. I will recommend sonos to anyone.

I use the Play 1 in my 5:1 surround, kitchen, and hopefully soon, game room. I would have one in every room if possible. It's extremely easy to set up alone; however somewhat buggy when setting up with the 5:1 surround, which includes the playbar and sub. If buying for small spaces or to complete the sonos surround, the play 1 is an excellent choice, I would recommend the play5 for larger spaces.

Sonas has such great sound and installation is a piece of cake. Love the lack of wires.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and I think I'm using it more than he is!! It's very convenient and has awesome sound!! We can't wait to get more of them for the house!!

Was looking for way to listen to music all thru the house without having to have deal with wires. This is the best solution we found. No wires! Great sound!

Another Sonos speaker added to our home setup. The Play1 has great sound for such a small speaker. You will not be disappointed.

The sound is fantastic, they look good, are a good size and easy to set up for wireless.

We purchased the SONOS wireless home theatre system in conjunction with a new Samsung Ultra HD TV for our home. The SONOS speaker has excellent sound. The set up was easy and integration with our computer, tv, tablets, and smartphones, was seamless. Love the flexibility and the ability to play different music from different devices throughout the home with the system. We also love that each speaker can be it's own bridge for other speakers.

I added two of the Play 1s to my existing Playbar and Sub. It self-calibrates and doesn't require anything additional (like a bridge or boost). The Sonos app is great for adjusting on-the-fly, but I've found it unnecessary. You can preset them as surrounds for movie mode and equally as loud for music mode. I'm very happy with my purchase and wish I'd gotten the Play 1s when I got the Playbar and Sub.

I was torn between this speaker and one by Bose. As this was a few $$ cheaper during Black Friday, I took the plunge - and I am glad I did. This speaker sounds great and completely meets my needs. I was looking for a (non-voice enabled) speaker that I could use throughout the house to listen to music. Set up was straightforward, aided by the Sonos controller app.

I purchased the Sonos system for my office in Beverly Hills. It is truly fabulous. Just took a few minutes to set up and get to be operational. I would recommend it to anyone.

I add 2 Play:1 speakers to my Sonos sound bar and subwoofer. I am very impressed with sound. This system replaces a Sony5.1 surround system without the receiver and wires.
