I already had a Sonos Play 1, and so I knew that the overall product would be good. But I didn't expect the sound to be this good. The ability to link up speakers when we're having a party, or use them completely independently is really awesome. Plus we can play all my streaming stations and our own music archive.

Great sound for music. Plus, I use them for surround sound. The stand is very easy to put together too.

We have 2 Play5's and added the Play3 for our bar area as we did not need the range and volume for a smaller room. The set up was easy and we really enjoy listening to radio stations that play varying genres. It works great with iTunes. You can set each component to play the same music throughout the house as well as outside or you can have each component playing something different. There have been a few times that one or more of the components has disconnected from the network but that may be a router issue. Either way it is easy to setup the component again. We will probably add another one for our son's room.

We started the two Play 3 units. The sound is exceptional. There is no sound lag when playing whole house audio. Love that the volume can be controlled from the convenience of my phone for all of the speakers in the house. The app is very user friendly. Can easily move to the TV room for movie night and pair with our Sonos Playbar for surround sound. Worth saving your pennies for

Sonos 3 is a great product. We have it in the Living Room. The set up was quite easy and the sound quality is excellent.

Good basic sound for a home for someone who enjoys music but not concerned with individual sounds such as base. Also right now disappointing that you aren't able to stream amazon prime music, but easy to stream Pandora. Very easy set up and easy to use.

We added "sets" of the sonos 3 speakers in a number of rooms to finally get synchronized music throughout the house. Bought one more to be shared in the office and outside patio if we're entertaining out there, and didn't even check the box top for color. When i got home, first thought was "made a mistake". However, I swapped the new white sonos 3 into a white bookcase where there was previously a black unit, and it's almost invisible. Great sound from these sonos 3 units.

This is my 6th SONOS speaker purchase. Every SONOS speaker has been excellent with rich bass and clear sound. These are by far my favorite home speakers. The SONOS 3 is awesome!! Small but packs a lot of sound! Perfect for small rooms or connected for surround sound for larger rooms,

This was a purchase of two Play 3 speakers that serve as the rear speakers of a surround sound group. The room is large and the Play 3's provide expanded sound beyond that of the Play 1 speakers. I already have a surround system in a different room using the Play 1's and it works well for the room; however, these Play 3's are in a room 30 feet long. The sound is awesome. I continue to be pleased and impressed with the flexibility and performance of the Sonos system.

Added this play 3 speaker to our system. Very easy set up, only a few seconds and it was up and running. Great sound.

I had been thinking about these for quite some time. I had some gift cards stocked up, and decided to give it a shot. We have it on top of a hutch in our dining room, and have been using it a lot when sitting out on our deck this summer. We take our Surface or phone with us and control the Sonos in the house. For the price, good sound - although we don't crank it up for a big workout or anything. We're considering getting a Play5, then moving the Play3 to our bedroom.

Great product, easy to use. Its great to control the system via my phone. Plus the sound quality is awesome.

We first purchased the sound bar and woofer for our new tv. We went back and bought the play 3 to add the SONOS experience to another room. This addition makes entertaining even better. It is super easy to set up, but if you make a mistake, the SONOS customer service is very friendly and helpful (and non-judgmental to an older, not-so-hip with electronics woman)

I loved my first Play 3, then my second, and now I have the play bar for 5.0 surround sound. I plan on buying the Play sub soon for 5.1. The only downside is that right now they don't offer any way to get 7.1 surround sound, but I hear its in the works.
