Great purchase. I originally was going with a different brand because it was less expensive. Based on the quality of sound, easy use and sleek look I am glad I made this purchase and I will purchase other Sonos products. I also thank the Best Buy employees for recommending this product based on their personal experience.

We are building a new home and putting a Sonos system throughout the house. This speaker is awesome as it can be plugged into any electrical outlet to bring extra sound to our pantry, office, or whatever spots we don't have in ceiling speakers. We aren't in our new home yet but we are already enjoying the great sound and flexibility this speaker offers! My son keeps taking the speaker to wherever he is in our current home so he can listen to his own playlist.

Amazing Bass without a subwoofer. Two speakers give excellent stereo separation. Setup is very easy. iPhone/iPad interfaces are excellent. Really looking forward to Apple Music support.

I was very reserved about the purchase of these units due to the costs. Biting the bullet, I bought two at first. For a small speaker, they sound great. Easy to set up and easy to work with. I bought two more and all four of them are used in an office environment. I would suggest to most people the easiest way to set them up is plug them directly into your router, set them up then unplug from your router and place where ever you want them. Make sure your Wifi system is robust. I had to upgrade my wifi system ( I bought the ORBI) if you think your coverage is lacking in parts of the house. I set up XM (but I have also used Pandora and Spotify) and all services worked great, together or individually. If you set it up on your current wifi system then upgrade your wifi, you will need to do a factory reset on all of your speakers. Kind of a pain put it is the only way to change these units to a new wifi system. Overall these speakers are little powerhouses.

I have an older house, very difficult to wire. This speaker sounds great in our main family room. It has a full sound, similar to my older two speaker systems. Thge setup was simple and y wife lowes having music where and when she wants.

I bought the Sonos Play 3 wireless speaker to check it out before going further into the Sonos products. After 2 days I was so pleased I went back and bought several more speakers. I just hosted a large party and many people commented on the great sound. I love that I can control every speaker individually or as a group and also that my phone and iPad are the controls. If you're looking to have music throughout your home I highly recommend this.

This is the 5th component in our Sonos system; added to a fairly large room that is used as a home office. As with all the prior components, it was simply a plug-and-play add-in. One minor thing I've noticed is that the volume seems to require a higher setting than other rooms to produce sufficient sound levels. Not really a problem, just something I've noticed. It's a big upgrade over the computer speakers I was using in this room.

I bought 2 of these for a stereo system in my living room. These are outstanding quality and pair together perfectly. Full bass crisp mids and highs. Compatible to any component system I’ve ever owned. Set up with the ap is very thorough but easy to navigate

I needed another SONOS Play3 to compliment my others, however i wanted to hide this one on top of some furniture on the dining room. So this black SONOS play3 was perfect to hide on the top, plug in and connect to my existing SONOS system, and adds even more power and music to the combined Great Room of the house. The sound of the Play3 makes this a perfect balance between performance and price.

I'm using 2 of these play 3 speakers with a larger Sonos system to be the surround sound to my TV play bar and sub. Sonos is a wifi driven system that doesn't use compressed Bluetooth technology (that really is only intended for voice not quality music/!) These speakers are rich and clear and very full range. They set up easily and can be relocated readily... just plug into power. They stream any music from my phone, ipad or computer via the wifi with unlimited library and internet music and also act as my surround sound seamlessly switching to surround and back to full power for music. Incredible! Flexible.... different rooms can play different content... control the volume and all from your phone! BestBuy was a a great place to get these - they had excellent product knowledge and support.

I was very impressed how the installation went smoothly. Short project with great sounding results.

We started with one Play 3, a TV playbar (soundabr) and a sub woofer. We have added Play 1's, Play 3's so in our multi level home we can have what we want, where we want with quality sound. Customer Support is exceptional when I have had questions. Now they need an outside rated speaker. Sound wuality is Outstanding as well. Play 3 is richer than Play 1 but we have Play 1's in a couple of smaller spots and they are perfect for that.

Great sound and easy to set up. Add a couple more for a great whole house system.
