I went crazy and bought a full Sonos system for my house. The sub and sound bar went in the manacle with the PS4 to make a 3.1 system. A play 1 in the kitchen and the master bathroom. A play 3 in the master bedroom and the covered porch, and a play 5 in the living room. Simple to install. Simple to use. Awesome in-depth full bodied sound. Just simply Fantastic!

I also have the play:1 and :5, and this one I think would obviate the $$ of the play:5 for most people. Yes I can hear the difference, but for most people who put this into an active living area, where there are people talking, other background noise, etc., this middle unit does its job and would be a great entry-level size.

The sound is great without the price tag. App is simple to use.

This is now my third Sonos speaker. It's more powerful than a 1 and less than a 5 -- duh. (I have all three.) It fills my office with wonderful sound. I control it with Alexa. There's nothing bad you can say about Sonos. I do recommend that you look at Best Buy for open box items. I got a steal of a deal on this Sonos 3!

This is my second set of speakers adding to my PLAY 5 by SONOS. All I can say is AWESOME. These speakers are phenomenal! I am slowly building my total house sound system by SONOS. My next purchase is the soundbar for my Samsung 4K curved TV. My goal is to have SONOS in every room in the house. You can't go wrong, and nobody does it better then SONOS...

I returned my entire Samsung Radiant set and replaced them with one of every sonos speaker. The sonos sound MUCH better, dont distort like the samsungs did, the software works better. Also, with the sonos bridge it doesnt choke up my WiFi. Samsung didnt have a comparable product to the bridge. Overall, Sonos still owns the home speaker market.

This is a GREAT option for those who can't add surround or multi room wiring by ripping into the wall and adding the connections they need. Good quality sound and power... I use mine for having music everywhere and still be able be able to have sound for stereo, & TV. Works great in my real estate office... I would not hesitate to buy more form Sonos!

I purchased 2 of these and I have to say they are great. I can now stream music from my iTunes collection or one of the many Internet streaming audio services that Sonos supports. Wireless has been flawless. Volume can fill a room no problem.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband, and he loves it! The only problem we have is that we only have one. We are going to get a bridge and probably two more speakers so we don't have to keep moving this one. We have had the speaker at full blast, and the sound is not distorted at all. This little speaker puts out some incredible sound!

I anticipated that it would be just another sound system designed for wi-fi and interned music. The sound is actually remarkeable for the size of the overall package. Setup and operating software is some of the best I have ever seen. Extremely easy to setup and a joy to use. I purchased two more systems to add several rooms to the coverage.

We love Sonos. We have speakers in almost every room in our home now. The sound in the Sonos 3 speaker has excellent quality and range. We have it in our kitchen (which is quite big) and connects to the family room. What we love is that we can play different music channels in senate rooms, controlled from our phones or controllers.

Sonos continues to dominate the user experience. Their app and network are best in class. The sacrifice is, of course, speaker quality. This is definitely a great stand-alone powered speaker but doesn't stand up to traditional speakers. Given that I want the wireless, powered speaker, I'll take the tradeoff and this is the best I found in my budget.
