Short answer... I would ABSOLUTELY buy these again. Be careful if style and decor matter to you. They currently come in black or white. See my review of the black version for my overall impression in Sonos.

We added this to our network of Sonos setup so that we can enjoy our music outdoors. We didn't want to spend the effort and money getting a permanent wired outdoor speaker solution so we thought adding the Sonos Play 3 would be good enough. It allows us to be able to listen to our whole home audio outside or in a room where we don't have speakers. The sound quality is great and it has a good amount of bass. This is definitely a recommended buy.

This is an addition to my current Sonos setup. I have other Play One speakers, sound bar and sub. Setup was easy and it sound for the Play 3 helped in the larger room that it is in.

Recently moved to new townhouse and had to leave my wired home entertainment at my last home. Was debating buying a Bose for the Living Room when a friend told me about the Sonos wireless system. That evening saw a commercial on TV, investigated online and went to Best Buy the following day to pick up a Play 5 for the Living Room. EASY installation! Great sound. Liked it so much a few days later I went back to Best Buy to purchase the Pay 3 for my Bedroom/2nd floor. The sound is great. The ability to operate Sonos from a smartphone APP or my laptop is convenient. And the ability to play music on both levels of the house (as well as different songs/tracks/stations on each level) is just terrific! The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is that i periodically lose access to the SiriusXM signal (which honestly may be an issue with the internet provider, though i can't confirm it one way or another at this time).

Sonos is the best stereo system I have purchased. You can listen to different music in different rooms. The app on your phone is so easy to use and you can do everything remotely. My kids love it too.

I bought this unit as an addition to my Sonus system. I plugged it in and the router immediately recognized it and added it to the system already established. Although the room is not very large, I opted for the Sonus 3 rather than the Sonus 1 because of the richer sound. I am very happy I did. Now without any other equipment in this room I can listen to internet radio, my iTunes library, and many other music sources . The quality of the sound is wonderful and the ease of use is fantastic.

After a lot of research and asking around I decided to buy one of these speakers. I am really enjoying it. Waiting to save up a little more money to purchase another one for a different room in my house.

Top quality speaker. I use it as a standalone speaker in my kitchen in addition to the full surround system in my living room. Sounds excellent by itself and even better when grouped with the rest.

I love my Play 3's. I have Sonos sound bar, sub woofer and Play 3's in my den and they sound great when I play music or watch tv. They even impressed my wife who does not really care about the sound.

The Sonos Play 3 has great sound and it is easy to use. The area where I have the speaker is over 100 feet away from my modem. My set up required to be directly plugged into my internet connection. I had to call in to Sonos to get it set up. Set up would have been quite a bit easier if my distance was not so far. The folks at Sonos were great and got it set up so it works just fine. Love the sound and the ease of use.

I purchased these speakers based on my sons recommendation. The set up was not difficult at all. I was amazed at the sound quality. I purchased 2 speakers so I could use one when I'm upstairs in my home and leave the other downstairs. I also Love the ability to control each speaker separately if my husband wants to listen to something different at the same time that I am listening. I understand that I can hook up 30 speakers to one bridge. I may purchase another speaker to use on my patio.

Love our Sonos system. We have the PlayBar and a Sonos 3. I love it so much, I want another Sonos 3 to add to the system. Have to purchase in stages, since they're a bit expensive. Truly worth it though.

Once I got one of these working I realized that two of them would shake my windows out of the frame! One of these was plenty of sound for my needs.

Plugged it in, went to the website and set up the wifi, we have beautiful music thruout the house having spent a few hundred instead of thousands that my husband insisted was necessary to spend to listen properly to classical music. We are both very happy with the sound and simplicity of the sonos system and plan to expand.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. It only took a few minutes to have it up and working. Another 4 or 5 minutes and we had the iPhone app (and one on my Android ;-) set up so that she (or I ;-) can control the system from her/my phone. It has a great sound and a lot of choices straight out of the box. It can also be set up for XM Radio, ike she has in her car, so that she can listen to her favorite XM stations (e.g. the Elvis station). I plan on getting at least 2 more in the near future.

Very pleased with this speaker. Easy to use. Good sound. Extremely versatile.

I have 4 of these and i love them. Through the app you can use Amazon music, slacker, and pandora plus build your own play lists. I have one set at home and one in the office!

Is the best speaker I've ever owned the sound that comes out of it is amazing I would recommend to anybody was looking for a speaker that has amazing sound and not very big but with the Sonos play 3

Expensive system, but sound and flexibility is great. I moved a speaker to another location a couple of times and it stopped working. The Geek Squad was very responsive, and replaced the speaker.

I use it primarily on my patio but also around the house and garage. Nice clear sound. This wireless speaker system keeps the music and news coming wherever I am and all controlled from my iPhone.
