I bought this item so I could listen to music anywhere in the house or outside on the deck without having to purchase and install outdoor speakers. It works very well and has surprisingly good sound. Recently, I received a Sonos - Play: 1 as a gift and when I grouped the 2 of them together the sound was even better! I highly recommend this product and intend to purchase additional players.

I purchased two Play 3’s with the intent of adding on in the future. The Play 3 is the perfect size for my application as the Play 5 is quite big, and the 1 is small. I am pleased with my purchase as it is everything advertised, and nothing that isn’t. Sonos does not embelish their claims of the quality of the product nor the utility of it. The app is a necessary evil, however it is user friendly in my opinion, and works well with the product. I am looking forward to expanding my Sonos system to include the Playbar, and a couple of Play 1’s for other rooms. As long as Sonos continues to be what they currently are, and provide the level of service and quality of products I will continue to be a customer.

We love our SONOS speakers. It is not cheap, but good things rarely are. We have been slowly building our system a little at a time for a couple of years. We now have audio nearly everywhere, inside and out. The network and app work amazingly well and it sounds great. Let me count them ... 10. We are up to 10 speakers. Love it!

Just moved to a new home. Easy to install, excellent sound system. Bought this speaker to pair with a sound bar and another speaker to complete a surround sound set up. Was going to have a wired system installed but an interior designer suggested this. Very happy with the outcome. Plus if we move again, we take these with us.
