Already had 3 of the play 1 and decided to upgrade the living room to a play 3. Extremely easy to move the 1 to another room and set the 3 up. Sound quality is excellant and richer in tone than the 1. I haven't tried the tuning of the speakers yet but as of now see no need to, they're great right out of the box.

In the store looking for a outdoor speaker set up and the salesman suggested look at the SONOS. I purchased it and I love it. The quality of sound with the SONOS PLAY 3 is really terrific. I have recommended the system to my friends and learned that a few of them already had the speakers and they thought they were fantastic.

Have been gradually adding to my home Sonos speaker system, and am really pleased with the sound from this speaker. I now have two Sonos Play 3 speakers, along with a couple Play 1 and a couple smart speakers too. The sound is great, and with the later updates to the the app, like the interface a lot.

Easy setup and ground sound. Will probably buy several more.

This little speaker has a remarkable sound quality as well as the ability to effortlessly fill a good-sized room room with clear sound. My personal measuring stick for a loudspeaker is how well it performs at low volume. This speaker projects a very clear sound at a low volume. I’m very happy with it.

I love the SONOS system concept. Each speaker is individually amplified, so no wires to run, just power it and open up the SONOS application (APP) and enjoy your ITunes, or your own music in minutes. Great product. So great that now Bose is jumping into the market with their own networked speaker system that requires no wires. Great great product.

We already have the Sonos Play Bar, Sub and 2 Play 1's for Surround Sound in our Family Room. Great sound, GREAT PRODUCT. We purchased the Play 3 for a single speaker for our office. We can even group it with what's on TV. So Satisfied with this Product.

Sonos, their WiFi home speakers are great. The system is packed full of possibilities. Stop thinking about it and just get it.

Speaker sounds awesome, but the convenience is even better.

It is awesome. Easy to set up and use with my Amazon music. Also there are tons of radio stations. I love it.

We are owners of a Play 5 Generation 1 and we purchased the PLAY 3 for our daughter's first apartment. The sound is crisp and abundant, definitely, can't maximize the volume in her new space because it would blow the roof off but she loves how nicely the sound fills her space. I recommend SONOS to everyone.

Really love listening to my music, and this speaker is way on the other side of the house from the Play Bar.

I wanted a system that did not require the use of Bluetooth and the Sonos system had the features and accessibility that I was looking for. I have the Play 5 as well as the Play 3. I bought the Play 3 to use in my kitchen, but after a few months, I ended up buying a second Play 3 to pair with the first to improve the sound quality. The result was fantastic, but expensive. The shape/design of the Play 3 makes for a more subtle placement than the Play 5, but your placement and room size may require 2 units to get the sound you enjoy. Overall, I'm very pleased with the system because the features suit my uses quite well.

I wasn't sure I wanted to settle for a play 3, but I thought I would get a couple for surround sound speakers. I ended up putting them in a couple bedrooms because they sounded fantastic and I thought using the just as surround speakers was not using them effectively. I think I will probably end up getting a couple play 1's for surround sound.

Paired this with my Sonos sub and sound bar and turned it into one of two rear channels for my living room. This little speaker is a force to be reckoned with. Stand alone this speaker is amazing, and paired with other Sonos equipment it is even better.

I purchased two of these to add to my sound bar to enhance the surround experience even more, and they are very effective.

Sonos system is easy to configure and reconfigure. Infinitely flexible and expandable. Play3 speakers have good sound quality for surround speakers or as a pair in a small to medium sized room. Full fidelity audio requires good wireless signal strength. Good quality sound bar. Convenient to use as a component of the household sound system.

My very first Sonos speaker! Unfortunately they discontinued this version, but two years and five additional Sonos speakers later my PLAY:3s are still producing great sound quality and performing well with no issues or malfunctions. I wish they'd bring this back!
