The Play 3 is a good speaker that sounds great when paired with a second speaker. It’s a pricey setup but produces good sound. Too bad it’s going to be discounted. I don’t like the trapezoid shape, so hopefully the replacement will be better looking. Astetics aside, it’s a great speaker.

We just moved into an apartment so we really didn't have room to set up a stereo systems. We had bought a Sonos sound bar for our TY and it works great so we decided to buy this little one for another room. This is an awesome little speaker, great sound, clarity and ease of use. I can listen to music from my phone, cloud and independent radio..

Love the Play 3! Wi - Fi surround is the way to go. Much easier than wall or ceiling components. I can control each individual speaker or group them together all from my phone or my tablet. Awesome sound. Absolutely pleased. I've been looking for a flaw (interruption, etc.). Nothing to complain about. Buy. Buy. Buy!

Very good sound from the speaker the difficulty comes in that you must have a very good Wi-Fi system and I wish they had a Bluetooth function so that people could come in and utilize your speaker system with their own music on their phone

I started with a Soundbar, two Play 3's, and two Play 1's. Liked it so much I bought another 1 and 3. Plan to buy the subwoofer soon and at least tow of three more speakers. The system has renewed my interest in listening to music because in seconds I can access so much material. Would recommend to anyone. Not cheap but worth the money.

Now I can play my entire music library wireless using my home wifi. Plus it has Pandora,satellite radio and more...Love it!

Sound is incredible and have not regretted purchase for a minute. You can set up to play in whatever room you will be listening. I move it around sometimes and it does takes a few minutes to learn the room but well worth it. Although, I wish you could save settings so it wouldnt have to relearn each time.

My father and brother both purchased multiple Sonos speakers. I was hesitant to join them because the price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it was worth every penny when I finally pulled the trigger on this Play3. It has excellent sound and I love how easy it is to operate via the IPhone 7 Plus.

These Play 3's are amazing! We purchased the play 3 surround sound bundle with the intent to eventually purchase a Play 5 speaker for the garage and one for out in the backyard. After having them for awhile we have decided to move the Play 3's to the garage and outside and put Play 1's in the surround sound. This system is so powerful!

I have a this Sonos Play3 and a few Play1s. They both sound great, the Play3 does have a little more power than the Play1. One thing to remember when implementing the Play3 is the audio is more directional versus the Play1. I do recommend it for larger rooms.

The hardest thing about setting Sonos up was finding a long enough extension cord, to put the speaker where I wanted it.

I carry this to my backyard and play my music from my smartphone app. Very portable. Sound is good, but clearly Play 5 sounds much better for an additional hundred bucks...

I bought this as a gift for my son and he loves it. Now he wants to add other speakers to have music all over his house.

Much of my house is set up with SONOS-- I have two connects, three Play1s, a Play3 and a Play5 in various places around the house. For what it is, the sound quality is quite good. Obviously not audiophile level, but nobody's expecting that! This particular unit has good solid sound, and fill a mid-sized room on its own (again, not with super high quality sound, but does the trick). I've had connectivity issues playing lossless files when trying to play to all of the SONOS components in my house; I get a "could not buffer" error. If I regroup the units to only include 3 of them, it's usually ok.
