I recently purchased a PLAY:3 to add to my Sonos collection of a PLAY:5 and two PLAY:1 speakers. The bass is much more evident than in a PLAY:1, but without the added depth of a PLAY:5 (or the added cost). Still, it performs very well as a standalone speaker in my office.

Sonos does a great job of streaming via WIFI radio and other services on this speaker.

I love the power behind the sound that this speaker offers. It is part of a full system including the soundbar. I upgraded from what I originally purchased (the Sonos Play 1) for the extra money it was more than worth the improvement in sound. Highly recommend the speakers.

I have several play 1's but wanted to try the play3 to see if with my ave hearing I could tell a difference. I was pleasantly surprised, the PLAY3 has a noticeable fuller and richer sound. Should note that this is in a relatively small room (12x14) which use to have two play1's.

I have been so blown out of the water by the incredible sound that comes from this speaker. I have to buy one at a time but so far I have 4 of them in my house and it's SO AWESOME. I used to have Heos products and they were good but these are really just so much superior.

Sonos is a great fit for me it gives flexibility on different locations in the house

Added the play 3 to the play 5 that I have had for about 10 months. Superb Yankee made device, super easy (and I mean really simple!) to set-up and link. Capability to play different music through 3 & 5, or synchronize! Just a quality product, sold at a fair price, hence 5 stars all day long :)

Sonos is the best! You should buy the bigger units Play3 and Play5 - they sound better.. The Play 1's are not enough sound.. The installation was so easy and I love the portability. I loved it so much that I bought a 5 and the subwoofer.. I am saving up to get the bridge for my analog stereo..

I had heard the Sonos 3 at an outdoor venue and was stunned at how good it sounded. Full, rich sound that was unbelievable. When I bought one, it did just as I expected. As good if not better than my Yamaha home theater system with Klipsch Heresey (circa 1977) speakers.

The Sonos wireless system is fantastic. I can easily add an additional zone to play music anywhere in my house by purchasing a player. Just plug it in to an outlet and begin playing music. I highly recommend the Sonos system to everyone!

I love this speaker. The only problem I'm having is that the speaker is to small for my living room size and now will need to go by the Sonos5. That was a joke and not a problem so to speak. This Sonos3 has great sound and I love that it is WIFi and always ready to go

Perfect speaker for a medium sized room. Sonos new software upgrade makes the system more simple. Definitely get the play 5 though if you're on the fence at all about whether it will be loud enough for the size room you have. If you crank it in a big room it will distort.

This unit, while pricey for most speakers, is a great buy. The sound quality is very noticeable as soon as you add it to your Sonos system. Huge difference between the Play1 and this Play 3. Should meet the needs of anyone looking for the perfect sound for their room.

I had already updated most of my home with other Sonos equipment and so when I wanted to upgrade the music system in my den I naturally looked at Sonos. The Sonos Play 3 was the perfect size for my bookcase and both the reception and output is perfect. I would highly recommend this item.

This was my 4th (recently added 5th) Sonos speaker and love the product. At times getting them to connect to wifi (changed router too) can be challenging, but it gets done with Sonos help. In the end, these are great sounding speakers that blanket the house. Love em
