This speaker gives you rich base and clear treble. It is sturdy and well built. It also sounds like you can use it at full power all day long without it blowing out.

This is the easiest system to set up and use. Just a few minutes and you are listening to the clearest sound ever. Very easy system to expand. The sound is great.

The speaker set up was quick and simple. The only hiccup was caused by my Wi-Fi system and quickly resolved. Speaker is a gem, very nice sound for a little box.

I searched for wireless speakers and found the Sonos brand. I waited for about 4 months and kept doing research while I waited. I also waited to see if the price would drop (no such luck). I finally purchased 2 Play:3's and I was not disappointed. I have one in my bedroom and the other in my kitchen. The sound is so rich and extremely clear. I absolutely love the capability of connecting the speakers together to play the same music. The sound BOOMS though my house! I'm now considering getting the sub and the sound bar. Might as well go all out!!! I've started with the best and I won't turn back now.

The Play3 was easy to set up and sounds great in the master bedroom. I am very happy with sound from such a small speaker. I also have a Play5.

One of the easiest setups I’ve done in awhile. Sonos is the real deal. Very easy to navigate the Sonos app and most importantly great sound!

This speaker is good for a medium room like a game room or family room. Great sound and volume. Love the fact you can listen to different music from room to room.

I must have waited 4 years to buy a sonos system. It's not that I didn't want one, I just couldn't justify the cost. I do not regret at all splurging on it now that it is hooked up. The soundbar, sub, and two play 3 speakers makes for one awesome surround system that you simply plug in. I even disconnect the play 3 speakers and bring them outside when we have get togethers. If your thinking about buying this system, don't think anymore and just do it. You will not regret it!

I added this to our growing collection of sonos enabled rooms and its perfect size and sound for my home/office. Setup and listening in about two minutes.

This is a great speaker when filling smaller rooms. It will produce a lower sound volume than the Play 5, but it still holds the quality you're looking for.

We love our Sonos system (2speakers plus Connect on our stereo). The interface is easy to use, with lots of sources (Internet, our library, tv/stereo inputs).

My wife and sons gave me a Sonos 3 as a birthday gift. They knew that I had wanted one for a long time. I was thrilled to receive it and it has lived up to my expectations. The sound from this speaker is awesome I love music, and it all sounds good on this unit. The Sonos App is the best way to access your music, whether stored on a device, on the radio, or through an online service like Pandora. All of my devices are synced with it and each can start and stop the music. I have this on most of the day and am in awe of the technology and the sound. Great gift for dads!!

This speaker sounds great and works with other Sonos speakers for a whole house system. It can play music from your media directories on your network or from internet radio stations. One drawback is that there is no way to play music to this speaker from other sources such as a CD player or from sources like youtube.

The sound is fairly rich in the mid and lower range considering the size of the speaker. The free App from Android and iOS is unique. It does detect and let you group your speakers (if you have more than one)....Simulcast in your home. The only thing that was a little tricky was the discovery process. If the App on your phone can't detect your Sonos speaker, it asks you to plug the speaker in using a wired connection. I had to do this. I suspect my Speaker was initially having WiFi signal strength issues. For some reason, now that I have completed the configuration process, the speaker connects reliably to my WiFi network. No issues. The list of streaming services is great...Pandora, etc. Just about anything you could want. The ability to use and define your own playlists is also nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the price.
