This is not sold anymore, but was a decent speaker. However, the Play 5 is for superior then this speaker. I assume Sonos realized this was not a value added product in their line and moved to the Play 5 as their single option. Not a lot of bass in the 3 vs a 5.

As long as you can get past the cost of the speaker, it's the best of its kind I've listened to.

I love this Sonos speaker! I switched to Sonos after trying a few different AirPlay options. AirPlay is great but the signal is unreliable. Sonos is much better due to the fact that it runs on its own dedicated network. Couldn't be happier.

This was a wise purchase to accompany our SONOS sound bar. The Play 3 is moveable and can perform other,functions while the sound bar is being used by TV watchers. The PLAY 3 can also add additional surround sound when watching our favorite movies.

Grouped with 4 other Sonos speakers and they are great for filling your home with sweet sound.

Great system. Had to use Bridge to finally make it work. Sonos web steers you to Boost where you have to keep a player attached. Kind of defeats the idea of being wireless. Works great now that I got it working.

Easy to install and also to pair with a second one to get the stereo pair. Very good sound.

We now have Sonos in every room of our house. Including the garage. We listen to music pretty much whenever we are home. The play 3s are great by themselves or with a surround set up. You can't go wrong either way.

setup and adding another speaker is easy to do. Playing one or both is also easy to setup

We love all our Sonos speakers. They are super portable we move them throughout the house wherever we want music. I love that you can group the speakers together. My only complaint is that you can't add external input.

This is in my kitchen and the sound is excellent, plus I have a hearing loss. Love Sonus!

I have the Play5 as well and comparing the two, the 5 has a nicer sound, deeper, but still a nice product.

The sound quality was great and I was pretty excited about the product but ended up returning it. Issue#1 The sales people were incorrect about the capability of the Sonos app being able to connect to my Apple TV so I could listen to the same music upstairs as downstairs on my surround sound system. Apparently this is not an option without also spending another $350.00 for the Sonos Connect. Issue #2 I started out by downloading the app on my phone and was only able to access the last three songs I had downloaded. It was not until I loaded it onto my computer as well that I was able to access my entire music library. The biggest problem with this is that I had to have my computer on in order to access my music. Once my computer was on and I had the app activated from there, I could control it from my phone but that pretty much defeated the purpose. Again, great sound but not worth it for the expense and trouble.

The sound is very clear, but to have the full ambiance, buy the whole set of speakers.
