No wires and can be stereo too using two paired Play-3s. Can play different music in a special room!

I give the Play 3 5 stars in all areas but sound quality. Materials, packing, ease of set up and aesthetics are 5 star. I have two Play 1s and the Play 3 does not hold a candle to the Play 1s. I thought this first when listening to each in the store display. Thinking the noisy Best Buy atmosphere may be robbing each of their sound quality, I purchased a Play 3. I tested the Play 1 and Play 3 at home, same room, exact songs. The Play 1 is much richer in sound. I am taking Play 3 back and getting a couple more Play 1s.

This are great, they go anywhere in the house, have great sound. I use them everyday.

The play 3 completed my sonos system and I couldn't be happier. For those who don't want to run the wires. These are your surround speakers you need. Pair with playbar and sub and you are complete.

It is so good it is addictive....I keep adding rooms..... I absolutely love it..... Manage mine with my iPad linked to my iTunes library on my computer.....

This thing is awesome. The only think I don't like is the load time on the iphone.

speaker sound so bad I had to return it, and spend another $200 for my second play 5. I suggest buying two play 1's also. Set them up as L & R speaker for good sound also

Only problem is it occasionally disconnects from Wi-Fi, therefore not being able to play any music.

Not specified in the details, you MUST use the SONOS software. This product also MUST have a hard-wire (CAT5) cable plugged directly to your router to work as a stand-alone speaker. If you want more than one speaker, you MUST use a bridge. All these "requirements" render this speaker very inflexible and downgrade its use. I'm disappointed in this and likely to return the product.
