I have been using sonos for a couple of years throughout my house. I have the playbar, sub, and play 3s as surrounds for the living room and play 1s in other parts. My most recent play 3 went to the garage. I work in and out of the garage, so I was somewhat concerned with how well I could hear it when I was outside in the yard or driveway. It is located in the back of the garage and I have no trouble hearing it wherever I am. Also, I was concerned with it being in the garage during the cold winters but I spoke with sonos and they were very confident I would not have a problem. I have been into home and car audio for as long as I can remember and I have never recommend a product that I can confidently stand behind more than sonos. Easy choice for a quality speaker and the sonos application is perfect.

What can I say about the Sonos Play 3 that hasn't already been said? Sure there are now competitors out there, but they can't touch the Sonos ease of use and controller. The sound is fantastic and if you really want a nice system, pair two of them for stereo with the subwoofer. I love the wireless system and gladly gave up my audiophile tendencies for the convenience.
