Purchased two of these to use in the house and occasionally relocate to the deck for outdoor use. Easy to move and automatically resync's to the network. Super clear sound. Have an Alexa enabled Play One and it can control these as well. Pretty slick.

I have the Play 1's, 4 of those. I got this one for my back porch. I love it. I love all of them, because the can be moved anywhere if you like. I also, love sonos, because you can build your system as you want.

The Sonos Play 3 is a speaker that only works off of wifi no bluetooth here. The sound quality is great it has a very nice balance of bass and highs. I like that if you purchase more than one you can connect them and use them in different rooms. The set up is fairly simple and the directions are easy to follow. The main issue I have with the speaker is the required app you need to have needs work better. I use several different music services and while they are all found in the Sonos app some work better than others. For some odd reason on the Amazon music app it will not let you skip back to replay a song you can only go forward. Searching for favorites or creating a playlist is a pain and nothing transfers from the Amazon app, or any others that I tried, to the Sonos app. I had to redo all my favorite stations and playlists. Once you spent the time redoing your favorites and playlists the speaker sounds and works great. Just be prepared to take the time to arrange your music. There are many different accessories that you can purchase to add to your Sonos system that I will be looking at as well.

Easy setup. Sound is very crisp with slight bass. I don’t think it’s all that much more noticeable than the 1

Awesome sound. Bought this in time for a Christmas party. Set up a Play 3 in the kitchen and a Play 1 in the foyer. Added a Sonos Connect to my home theater system and had music everywhere during the party. Great setup. Sonos needs an outdoor speaker to complete the system.

We bought this speaker to go with the other Sonos speakers we currently have. It is an excellent speaker. Love that it is easily transferred to different rooms and areas in our house. Use it in our hot tub room and this summer we will use it on our outdoor patio.

Love the portable wireless capabilities. You can name the rooms where your speakers are located. Group them together if you want sound throughout all rooms or ungroup them if you only want to hear in specific rooms/areas. The quality of the sound is outstanding as well.

I purchased the Subwoofer, Soundbar, boost and two Play 3 speakers of this series product. Price: this system is as expensive as the more traditional BOSE branded system at bestbuy, and honestly my husband and I were between either, but after looking at this and testing it in store it exceeds our needs for a 5.1 system and gives us expandable flexibility in the future. Setup: Tried to setup using the phone app with difficulty, reset everything and chose to setup via PC, PC setup once all parts were in place including boost connected to router it took about 10-20 minutes Experience: Honestly we love it, we were able to pick up all the pieces at our local store and setup easily, and this system is great for all genres of music we've tested on it too. And there's no speaker wires everywhere in our living room. The quality of sound for music and movies is so great and I'm really impressed how everything was set up so easily

This is the second play 3 I’ve purchased. I have Them set up in a stereo pair. Sound is fantastic. Great product. Setup was easier on the second cuz you don’t have to plug subsequent devices into the router. Not that the first was difficult.

Didn’t know what to expect because I’ve researched a lot of speakers but as far as features and clear sound with punchy bass, Sonos shines! Pairing with WiFi was easy, also purchased sonos one with Alexa..don’t doubt Sonos, quality products!

When I think of wireless I think of "no wires," at all. And if you look at all of their advertising pictures, all you see is the component, sitting nicely on a table, counter, or shelf. But, these things are AC / electrical cord powered, so you do need to run the electrical cord from the device to an AC outlet. Once you know that, then you are ready to adopt these Sonos components/speakers as like one of your own children. These things are great, given their size, sound, appearance, and their (so far) 95% seamless operation. The only problem I had originally was that the speaker would cut out after about 4 1/2 minutes of playing. I was getting ready to return them when my wife dug into Sonos' online user manual and discovered that you could change the channel upon which the Sonos wireless network operates. What was happening is that the Sonos wireless network (it creates its own network for its own devices to link to each other) was interfering with our native home wireless network. But, we switched the Sonos wireless channel and voila! It has worked flawlessly ever since. This system is phenomenal in that: it can play different music on every different Sonos speaker in the system, or play all the same music, or play any different combination that you choose; it can read the music library from your computer or other device connected to your home network; with the Sonos Connect (which I also have) you can hook up your traditional home stereo system (so I now can play from my 300-disc CD changer, which requires some initial button-pushing on the receiver/CD changer each time I want to do this, but that's not a big downside); the components themselves are attractive and have a small footprint; the sound is great for speakers of this size (don't expect it to sound like a full-size speaker system, but it is exponentially superior to the poor sound you get out of a tablet, laptop, or smart phone - which that alone almost makes it worthwhile); and the controller app / software is pretty easy to use once you get used to it (which takes about 10 minutes and some playing around with the various functions). Another note: my family is buying a new-construction home and there was an option for whole-home music to be built in, but that would have cost us around $3,300 and not provide different music on different speakers (the latter option was $4,000). Sonos, on the other hand, will provide us music in the same number of rooms (4 - but that includes my hi-fi receiver and speakers already owned as 1 of the rooms) with the ability to play different music in each room, for about $1,046 (actually less because I made purchases during promotional periods so will be applying about $50 worth of Best Buy rewards). Overall, I am thrilled with this system and recommend it to anyone who wants "whole-home" sound without having to run wires through your walls or have overbearing speakers sitting on stands in corners or hacked into spots in your ceiling.

I purchased two to get a feel for what these speakers sound like and how easy they are to use. I am 10000 percent satisfied the sound is great, the app is easy to set up and very easy to use. I plan on purchasing additional speakers to fill my house with great sound.

I am a huge fan of all o the Sonos products I have tried...I own several Connect:Amps and have a Play:1 in addition to the Play:3 I added recently. All of these devices are a breeze to connect to your existing system...press 2 buttons and done. We move the Play:3 from room to room in our home and it reconnects to the system without trouble. The sound is surprising for such a small package, crisp high notes and tight bass. My only "wish" is for Sonos to make a truly portable version that takes "D" batteries so we could enjoy it in the yard or carry it from room to room without worrying about the power cord.

My wife wanted some good music in the kitchen. The Sonos is amazing. Much richer sound than the Jambox I bought five years ago. It is easy to play Pandora and Tidal using her ipad. I'm planning to buy one for our rec room upstairs.

I had no idea this product existed until the home theater person at Best Buy pointed it out to me, and now my entire house is filled with perfect, high quality wireless sound. This is an amazing revolution in home sound; I have five speakers and am adding more.

If you are someone who uses almost any music streaming app out there and you want to have a good quality sound at a reasonable price the Sonos is for you. I spent money on other sound bars with blue tooth connections only to be disappointed. The Sonos was so easy to set up it almost scared me. I set up my amazon prime music and pandora. I now enjoy a rich sound all the time. I will be purchasing more sonos speakers. I have mine set up in the kitchen currently. You can hear it clearly in other rooms. Is able to go pretty loud without distorting anything.

This Sonos 3 is the perfect size and sound for our 10x15 screened porch. We've got a couple of 5s in the house in large rooms, but this one is great in the porch location. Sound is super, as well. Ease of installation is incredibly simple. Great value!

We have several pieces of Sonos equipment in our home. We moved a play one into our Daughters room and put the play 3 into the kitchen. Speaker really packs power and much deeper base than the play 1. Huge fan of the play 3.
