Bought this one and then Bose 30 soundtouch and I must say the heavier bass on the Bose swayed me to return this one and keep the Bose. Also, you can program up to six stations from an App like for example pandora stations already on Bose... etc. Bose has this one beat in my opinion.

I wanted to set my whole house up with Sonos when we first built it a few years ago, but ended up doing something different that we have not been happy with. Finally got a Sonos piece, and started with the Play5. I would give it 5 stars, but I have an older iPod, which looks like it's not going to be compatible. Still have to try that with a cable connection, so I may be able to use it. That being said, I have enjoyed using Pandora, local radio stations and will try out the MLB, NFL, and college football stations as needed! Now I think I'm going to be obsessed with getting additional pieces to use throughout the house!

I was very excited about this purchase...i have 3 sonos play1 speakers and one sonos1 with built in Alexa that controls my system. I was looking for something that would push a bit more on the low end. With certain songs, the play5 is an AMAZING speaker, but with others, it is a very hollow sound. If sonos would create a multi-channel equalizer so you could adjust the mids a bit, I think this speaker could be fantastic!!! Until then, just mediocre

Definitely one of the best speakers I’ve used. The base is amazing. I only wish it had a Bluetooth and TV connection options too!

Good speaker. No problems with it so far. Works and sounds good too. Haven't owned or used it enough yet to truly know.

I was hesitant to purchase bc of the price (there are cheaper versions), however I'm very satisfied with the quality and ease of operation. Worth the money!

THE SONOS HAVE BECOME THE PRIMARY MUSIC SOURCE IN OUR NEW HOME. RATHER THAN WIRING THE HOME, SONOS ALLOWS US THE FLEXIBILITY TO HAVE SPEAKERS IN ANY ROOM OR THE PAITIO WITHOUT COMPROMISES. THE MUSIC QUALITY IS EXCELLENT AND EACH SPEAKER CAN BE CONFIGURED TO FIT THE ACCOUSTICS OF EACH ROOM.

I have purchased this system for my home. The system is outstanding. But the service that I received was useless today the least.

I think it is a great speaker for the price. It serves multiple purposes for me as one speaker serves several areas. However it is a little bulky to carry around all the time. For me one speaker serves the purpose. I may add on the little speakers at a later date to make the carrying easier.

Fairly good sound quality but I still prefer the Bose. Extremely easy to set up.

Man I loved the sound of this. There is nothing out there sounds this good. I had to return it because I run a shop and it doesn't run bluetooth. You have to be on the network and run it through its app. So cant watch a YouTube video. Can steam. Music unless the app has it. Have to have app open to control volume. Man would have loved to keep it but forced to use app to do anything is a huge dealbreaker.

I have sold off my BOSE SoundTouch equipment as it never stayed connected to my network and BOSE couldn't figure it out. The SONOs equipment knows what a network is and stays connected. I now have 6 pieces of SONOS equipment and considering adding more. These things are addictive.

Great Sound for that little of a speaker. I bought it to play music for a wedding and that one speaker provides plenty of sound for the wedding.
