Love the sound of this speaker. We put it in our kitchen and it sounds great. Even better when we group it with the surround system in the living room.

I do enjoy this speaker everyday. I just wish Spotify did not require a premium account to use it. So I just stick to Pandora on this speaker.

Speakers perform well but Sonos should be more clear and mention that not all functionalities are compatible with the Android App. Especially with something so critical as TRUE Sound. I contacted their tech support and they came up with a lame excuse blaming Android. Obviously there is no excuse to advertise something and not deliver it. They suggested that I find a friend with an iPhone to come and tune my system. Really?!?! I am looking into replacing it with a Bose system since Bose also supports Bluetooth and has better functionalities on the speaker itself.

We have Sonos all over our home. Perfect for entertaining different groups (adults vs kids) as you can set different speakers to play different music. Im not sure we will ever use another surround system!

Thought a lot before spending the money on a speaker. Glad we did after we turned it on for the first time. Now just need the Sub with it!

I though I would never turn away from Bose but Sonos has put out a product that looks and sounds GREAT! Its APP is very user friendly also.

An awesome, easy to use product. I understand the range issues of 5G, but I still wish it was available as a streaming bandwidth.

I can't get it to play my windows audio files. It briefly did then wous nit recognize them again. If your files are WMA lossless I don't recimend

We have this speaker in the bedroom, and planning on getting more for each room of the house. Sound quality of Sonos system is awesome!

The Sonos Play:5 speaker is a great music player. I'm loving it...playing just as I expected it to do. No regrets.

components are too expensive. Be nice if there was a discounted package deal I would have purchased a much larger system

I was searching for a multi-floor / multi-room speaker system and the Sonos 5 works well for this purpose. The wi-fi integration and app design is impressive. If you want a simple way to integrate music for multiple floors/rooms - this is it. The sound reproduction is similar to that of a conventional speaker that costs around $150, so don't be under any delusion that this will offer a $500/speaker sound quality. The price is merely a reflection of R&D in wireless/smartphone control of audio.

One should be fine for a family room. When you lay it horizontally it automatically goes into stereo separation mode to create an excellent soundstage. It has 6 speakers and 6 digital drivers that fire at all angles. Place it vertically if you get two.

i am a stereophile enthusiast but with having a family I can no longer spend $3k+ on speakers and $3k+ on amplification, etc etc. Now I use multiple Sonos speakers, bridges, and a receiver to achieve a remarkable home theater and stereo listening experience.

I love sonos! Bought this play 5 to go with the rest if my system. Easy to use and love the phone app.

Sometimes it’s confusing to use the app and sync with various devices but love the sound. WiFi is a must.

Great sound. But every time you unplug it, you have to set up from scratch again, which is a pain, as we move this speaker around! Their tech was patient, but I was not :(

the integration and sound quality of this system makes it the best bang for your buck in quality whole house/room sound

This along with all my other sonos are excellent. This is used for an outdoor setting. Obviously not an all weather speaker but once outside it fills the space perfectly.

Speakers were easy to set up and sounded very good. Personally I like the Samsung m7, much cheaper now and sounds better.
