Excellent sound but the Wi-Fi reception can be non existent for no apparent reason

I HAVE TWO SINGLE SPEAKERS SONOS [1] ALONG WITH THE SONOS [5}. EXCELLENT SOUND

almost every room in my house has sonos! this play5 is perfect for a larger room. Smaller rooms you can get away with a play 1, or play 3. I will never by anything else but sonos.

Great sounding speakers wish they would go a little louder

The quality of these speakers and the way that they sound it’s amazing.... I invested almost 10k just on Sonos brand.... no regrets whatsoever!!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent sounding speaker, which is why it pained me to return it. After connecting to WiFi, music would stop in mid-song and advance to the next track just about every other song (on both Spotify and my iTunes library). After researching online, it is apparent that this is a problem that a substantial number of people are having with Sonos products. Just to be sure that it wasn’t a network issue on my end, I replaced my home server with a top of the line unit, but the problem persisted. I purchased a Bose Soundtouch 30, and placed both speakers side by side and streamed from the same network. The Sonos continued to skip but the Bose was rock solid. I returned the Sonos but kept the Bose, which is unfortunate because the Play 5 has better sound.

I bought 2 play 5s just for my bedroom for now. Eventually I want the new Sonos reciever and then buy a turntable for old school effects with modern equipment

This is a solid speaker for any apartment or home. Will need to do an install process where you can define how big the room is and that helps it give the best acoustics for the space!

Love the speakers. You can listen to your music in any room in the house.

i have now added my 12 and 13th speakers throughout the house. my wife no longer cares what i listen to in the office since she can play "whatever: it is she wants to in he space!

I have two play 5's and love them. I can listen to them through the house and have lots of options on music input, from my music files, to Pandora, Amazon, iHeart etc.

This has a very good audio response and frequency range. I was afraid that it might be heavy on the base however it really is a pleasure to listen too.
