I had high hopes for this speaker, and it was far better than anything I could have imagined

For its size (sonos 5), it surprisingly fills up the room. I highly recommend this speaker.

I love my play 5. No issues, complaints, or problems since day 1.

I love the Sono system. I have the 1 and 3 and love that I can connect them all together.

Only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t have Bluetooth. That’s the only reason I’ve thought about returning it . But decided to get as the sound is amazing.

This speaker is truly worth the price and it's just amazing!

I bought one and had to returned coupel of days later because too complicated to setup, ast least for me. I have Spotify premium for my music, with pre-arrenged songs, categories, singers, my favorites albums, etc, but when using this device I was unable to use my Spotify setup and had to follow the screens and totally differnet setup on SONOS app.... But if you don't have a customized Spotify Premiun, then this is for you!!! I got dissapointed and returned to store. But quality of the sound is good.

I have multiple Sonos speakers throughout my house. Expensive, but worth it.

When it is working the sound is phenomenal! But 2 things are annoying; it has to be re-linked to the group every time you turn on the TV (which is only a minor thing), but the biggest issue is it fades in and out, crackles, and only works if there aren't too many other devices in the house using the Wi-Fi. If my husband is scrolling through Facebook on his phone it fades in and out. If he clicks on a video it pretty much quits until he's done. Not what I was expecting for the price and I didn't see this issue much when I read other reviews.

I own all of the Sonos products and have always enjoyed the old Play 5. Sonos decided to build a new Play 5, so time to try it. The packaging of the new Play 5 is outstanding. Feels like an Apple product when you open it. Very nice touches all around. Then again, the new unit is $100 more than the old one. The new Play 5 is a little shorter than the old unit but much deeper. The look is cleaner and it can be placed like the old one or on its side. A nice touch if you buy a pair. Connecting it is the same as the other Sonos units. I did not try the new TruePlay feature since Sonos does not support it on the iPad Pro yet. Sonically it is very good. One tip is to let it break in for a while. Out of the box it sounds a little flat and laid back compared to the old Play 5. Give it a little time and it comes to life. Bass is deeper and richer with better overall separation. It's amazing how much sound Sonos gets out of this speaker. Outstanding product by Sonos again. Fun to listen to and worth the $100 price increase.

This is my second Sonos Play 5 speaker. They are used in stereo and are fantastic.

This speaker outperforms much more expensive units and just plain rocks - I will buy another.

SONO is a great way to enjoy music and easily incorporate your own library. A must buy!
