If you are looking for high quality, great sounding audio equipment, look no further than Sonos. Great for ease of setup and streaming music. The Play 5 speaker is much more robust and has deeper bass than its smaller siblings - the Play 1 and Play 3. These can be used alone, or you can create a stereo pair by using two. Great for home theater as well with a Sonos Soundbar and these as left-right speakers or rear.

The Sonos 5 was easy to set up with my network recognized rapidly. The sound quality is excellent with deep base and excellent higher tones. I play anything from classic rock to smooth jazz to piano. We selected Sonos over hardwiring celing speakers for ambient music in our new home and the Sonos 5 works perfectly in our larger rooms. The app is very functional but takes some time to understand all the Sonos app functionality.

Not an acoustic aficionado but I do know great sound and I am really satisfied with the sound that comes out of these speakers. We have two SONOS systems each consisting of the PlayBar, SubWoofer and 2 - Play5's. We wouldn't have it any other way in the two larger rooms where are systems are located. They definitely can get loud and still stay tight but please remember not to damage your hearing capacity.

Hands down best wireless speakers on the market. Wish the app would let you switch from surround sounds while watching tv on my two play 5s to stereo pair for listening to music.

We have 3 of these as part of our sonos system. One sounds great in our bedroom. Our basement great room sounds much better with 2. We love our sonos system. It’s easy to use.

My house was pre-wired for home theater and whole house surround. I priced both options and elected to go with the Sonos system for my house due to the sound quality and ease of set-up. The hardest part of this set-up may have been the unboxing all of the equipment. The Sonos App walks you through the set-up step by step and was very simple. I set up surround sound home theater and 4 additional rooms in less than 30 min.

I purchased the sonos PLAY:5 along with the PLAYBAR and the subwoofer. The audio quality from the PLAY:5 & PLAYBAR is superb, but bass tones are greatly enhanced by the subwoofer, which is a costly, but in my opinion mandatory purchase. For me Sonos is the only way to go! It has made a pleasurable listening experience. Great for movies but even better for music! The system is highly recommended!!

The speaker is integrated very well with its controller. The controller software is very good for both the PC version and the iOS version. A joy to use. Sound quality is decent for the price.

We started with the Sonos sound bar for our tv and one Sonos 5. Super easy to set this wireless speaker system up and the overall sound is awesome. It is very portable and very affordable. Because of this we ended up purchasing another Sonos 5 for the back of the house. If you have questions about setting up or how to work the Sonos system just email Sonos. We did and response was within a couple of hours. Kudos to the company and Best Buy.

This speaker provides amazing quality sound for such a small housing. It truly delivers room filling sound and deep bass that you would never expect until you hear it for yourself. As others have commented, the price is a little steep, but you'll forget about that quickly when you get to enjoy this speaker every day! Sonos in general provides a top notch product. I have it installed on every level of my home and it couldn't be easier to use.

Great sound coming out of Sonos Play 5. But it's not so easy connecting to your network... setup takes a while. The app is a little tricky trying to save music stations like on I heart Radio wont save. The Sonos app needs a little work. Also the power chord falls out easily, always tend to be careful not to move it so much fearing the power cable can fall out.

This is the best sounding little speaker I've ever hear. It's easy to set up and sounds awesome.

Great overall sound and it being wireless you can put it anywhere. Also the app is very easy to use.

So far everything Sonos I've bought has been fantastic. I have 2 Play 5 in different rooms, a soundbar and 2 Play 1's in the living room. Cant beat it for the price IMO.

The sound is amazing. The option to move around is with no wires!! They will rock u. Had an issue call tech services worked with me until the problem was resolved.. Highly recommended.

Love the sound from the speaker. And installation with my other Sonos speakers was a breeze. I highly recommend. A little pricey but in the end I think it’s worth it

The Play 5 is simple to set up and has great sound quality.

Just like the rest of the sonos speakers, this one is fantastic! I haven't used a Play:3 yet but compared to my soundbar and Play:1 this sounds even more crisp, but definitely has more bass to it. If you are looking for a speaker for a living room or entertaining area that has phenomenal sound quality with just enough bass to feel but not overpower the words or treble, this is what you are looking for.
