Purchased 2 of these PLAY:5 speakers to listen to music stream services that I have access to. These were placed in my living room and they really provide great sound. In addition to streaming music, I also have a turntable attached to the PLAY:5 which allows playing of my old vinyl. The ability to listen to the same music in each room that I have a Sonos is astounding. With 2 PLAY:5s, a Sonos subwoofer in the living room and 1 PLAY:3 in the bedroom, happiness is abound!

LOVE Sonos. The sound is incredible and love how easy it is to talk to other speakers and control from your phones.

What a great sounding speaker. Set up was very easy . Good replacement for an older Denon mini stereo system.

I'm currently using one Sonos Play five to complement two Play ones. In my opinion, it is the best sounding wireless speaker currently available hands down. You can fill a large room with sound that is loud, and distortion free with plenty of bass. It may be a tad lacking in the highs but that may be me. The two play ones seem to take care of that nicely. You can't go wrong with Sonos speakers.

I bought 2 of these because my friend had these placed throughout his house. I always like coming over and hearing every room you walked into sounded like you didn't leave the last room you were in. I use to install hifi systems for many years and I have to say for the price these are some of the best I heard. I even decided to get the 5.1 for my living room also. I always find myself when I get home for the day listening to my sonos sound system.

You will love the sound quality of the play 5. The base is deep and great low mid and high range.

So far so good with this speaker! The sound quality and volume are excellent. This was just what I was looking for.

The price seems high but this is more than just a powered speaker. With the ap I installed my ipad I can use several music streaming services such as Apple Radio and Amazon Prime from one location. I also acquired 2 CONNECT units to connect to existing sound systems. I can now play the same music throughout the house or can play separate sources on each device all controlled through my ipad. Much better than blutooth since it will reach everywhere there is wifi.

I purchased the Sonos 5 to have music around pool & patio. Excellent sound and easy to move as needed.

At first, I buy Sonos 1, then the second is Sonos 1 after that I group them. How lovely sound. After that, I buy a Sonos 3, and group all 3 Sonos play in my bedroom. Wonderful !!! Then, I cannot stop at here, I buy a Sonos 5 for my living room after a few days I buy one more Sonos 5 and group them to play music for my living room. Now I am living in a world of music. How much I love Sonos. I think, maybe, I should buy a sound bar and a woofer... why not?

I purchased Sonos 5 and I am in LOVE! I love music and I love a speaker that can do it all, without having an elaborate sound system installed in each room. I have the 5 in my kitchen, so when I open the windows, my music or streamed radio can be heard on 2 sides of my house outside. I just added Sonos 3, and now I have speakers in 2 rooms. Probably get 1 more speaker, Sonos Play 1, so no matter where I walk in my room, I'm experiencing a great balance of sound.

I have the Sonos Play Bar, Sub, and 2 Play 3's for my surround sound. So I had experience with the product before purchasing the Play 5. The speaker is crisp and clear and has a nice full sound. I am not what you would call and audiophile by any means, but it is probably the best sounding speaker I have heard. I love using the zones I have set up and being able to group them to listen to music in the whole house. I will be purchasing a couple Play 1's for the kitchen.
