I'm the owner of 3 sonos speaker beware buyer you can only use speakers with tv surround sound if sound is purchased. As far speaker you can only sonos apps on the speaker for example there is Pandora and Amazon music on sonos app in connection with speaker. You tube can't be used but overall the best sound ever way better than Bose and beats

I am glad I wait to do this review, I had the sonos products for a little over a year, I got the bar, play 1 and subwoofer I was happy then so few months later I got the play 5. 13 months after my first purchase is when my problem starts, my subwoofer alredy had to be replace and I had to paid because was 13 months from the purchase date and I did not had the extended warranty. Luck me now my Play 5 that is like 6 months old is giving me problems. With the subwoofer I had to pay to fix so they replace with no problem, was actually pretty fast if you are paying to fix. now the play 5 is under the warranty and they keep telling me to do this and that because they problably don't want to replace. They tell me they want to help and they can replace the unit but they keep telling me to do this troubleshotting over and over. Now I have to schedule a phone call, not sure maybe they think if Play 5 hear their voice it will start working again. The product if you are luck and doesn't brake has a good sound quality, is easy to install and the app is easy to use. So I guess if you want to risk you should buy the extended warranty and try. I dont recommend because is too expensive for the problems that is giving me.

Only downside, Sonos does not run off MAC machine. Still need a speaker even if you want to run it off your mac internal speakers.

I bought 5 of these to use in a gym setting over over 5000 sqft of open space. The 5 play:5's have great quality and fill the space with sound. It's very convenient to be able to control the speakers together or individually in order to have classes in certain areas have less noise. Would definitely buy again.

It is as advertised. Great sound quality, nice clean understated design. Would have given it a five star review if it had Alexa built in like the Sonos One.

This was my first expensive purchase an appliance is outside of TVs and I don’t regret it. To this day all of my friends are trying to take my speaker. The quality is top notch you can’t find a better quality than this and Sonos

I bought this, actually 2 of them as rear speakers to go with the Sonos Playbar and Sub for a killer sound system instead of using my TV speakers. The "5's" add a great rear sound and have added bass to increase the effect. The system is expensive, and worth it in sound and ease of installation. Alex was very helpful as my salesman.

I've used Bluetooth speakers for years but this is so much better. Calls and other notifications do not interfere with the music. Distance is no issue. Once you set it to play you can leave your house with your phone, drive miles away, and the music keeps playing. Sound quality is great. One speaker fills our house with music.
