When I first heard the Play5 play at a booth I wanted to check it out and see how loud and how clear it would sound compared to my Bose speakers, and once I heard it................. I SAID OMFG I GOTTA HAVE IT... Will definitely start getting the rest of speakers to have a surround sound environment.

Love this product. I plan on adding more to my house for a full affect

This is my 7th Sonos product I have purchased. I use sonos in my home and business. Phenomenal!

Excellent sound quality. Easy installation. One downside is the Sonos app is hard to navigate and requires a lot of searching to solve connection issues.

Sonos has been on my wishlist for about 4 years now but not in my budget. I got a Bestbuy gift card and knew exactly what I was going to get. I got the Play 5 and have no regrets. I don't know how I have lived without it. I am planning on purchasing the other 2 plays withon the next 3 months.

We bought the Sonos Play 5 to provide streaming music to our kitchen. The sound quality is up to our expectations, a solid 5 star. My reasons for the 4 star overall are 1) price, 2) lack of built-in Alexa requires placing an Amazon Dot in the room to control it, and 3) the Alexa skill set could use some improvement. For $100 more than a Bose 500, which we also own, the sound is far superior. On the other hand if you absolutely have to have something as small as the Bose 500, it is pretty impressive for its size.

I purchased this item a little worried about the price but after several weeks of use i must say it is well worth it. Easy setup, The sound is great, full and clear. The adjustable EQ really brings out the sound. Definetly can fill large rooms. Im a sonos Junkie my friends. Worth the Dough!

This speaker is so good my wife is in love with it. The sound is so rich and full. Much better than my previous Bose purchases. Salesman was very helpful in demonstrating the Sonos and Bose products available. Sonos won out big time. Anyone who hears it is blown away, Thanks Best Buy and Sonos.

Set up was quick and easy. Sounds and looks great. I'm looking forward to building my complete system. I'm up to two play 5s and four play 1s. Slowly but surely filling the house with awesome sounding speakers and not cheap Bluetooth speakers. Can't wait for alexa voice control skill.

I tried all the wireless speakers in the store including the Bose system, the Sonos won hands down. I loved it so much when I took it home I bought two more! These speakers are compatible with my Iphone, the Sonos app works well. Coupled with Amazon Music and Spotify, I'm in music heaven!

I bought a pair of pair sonos three speakers Since I like to listen to music in stereo. I primarily listen to soft music from the 70s and not play it loud, At low to moderate volume The music sounds great plus I hear the separation from the left and right speaker.

Originally when I purchased this speaker I loved the sound and connectivity experience that this product gave me. I listened to the Bose and Sonos and other speakers, considering their sound, connectivity, and apps (for iOS and Android) before selecting this product. As an audiophile, the sound was rich and the bass was wonderful. READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW THOUGH..... So if I loved the product why am I rating it so low???? Sonos has released a couple of software revisions that seem to have destroyed the quality of the sound and connectivity with your mobile phone. How can a manufacturer make such a STUPID MISTAKE that really cripples the device. With all of the bad reviews on the software, I thought it was probably just a couple of bad apples but no the software really does suck that bad. It truly appears to be an Apple tactic, where the product is just so good that you force people to buy a newer version by crippling the device through the software.

The Play: 5 fills my large room with sound very nicely, including the bass. This has made me a Sonos devotee, and I'll be getting another '5 for this room, and more for other rooms. I like the '5's Aux-input and I'd like to have that on some of the other, lesser Sonos speakers.

I replaced my play 3's with the play 5's on my surround system and it sounds incredible. I have the beam and a sub to go with the play 5's. My kids said it's sounds just like the theater and it does. It's pricy but worth it if you want the theater experience.

Went in to buy 100 ft ethernet cable and ended up purchasing a wireless speaker system. I listened to the Sonos and compared it to Samsung, Sony, and even Bose and I feel these were just as good if not better than the bose.

I was planning on buying Bose speakers until I checked consumer research sites. When. I went into Best Buy and tried it, WOW! The sound quality is amazing and the system placed throughout the house is PHENOMENAL. You're best decision is to do what the review title says, you won't regret it!

I bought a second for a stereo pair for my wedding, best purchase I've made in a long time. Outstanding!

If i would have brought this one first I wouldn't have bought the sound bar. This sounds so much better. If you get two of these that's all you would need for complete surround sound. The sound that comes out of this play 5 is awesome.

This is a powerful bookshelf speaker that can be paired with another Play 5 to create stereo sound. It has great frequency response, and works well as a general speaker for all kinds of music as well as working inline as a TV speaker.

Fantastic and elegant wireless stereo sound - after reading reviews and getting great advice from BB staff I took the plunge. I went with the Sonos PLAY:5 rather than less expensive and less bold sounding Sonos PLAY:3, I have no regrets. They play soft and also loud.
