I purchased the Play 5 to add to my already existing collection of Play 1's. I could not be happier, the sound is extremely full, deep bass and the usual terrific Sonos reliability. I also really like that you can skip forwards or backwards a song right from the speaker's controls.

The system suits my needs very well. I wanted a desktop, compact system with high sound quality and a reasonable price tag. I compared it to other systems with similar price performance and thought the Sonos offered the best combination. It exceeded my expectations in all regards.

I went into Best Buy to purchase a Bose wireless speaker and the sales rep ask me if I ever heard of the sonos system. I replied no...,, so he ask me to stand on the other aisle and he played one of the speakers and it was amazing sound and I had to purchase it. Very much worth the money

The speaker is matte black. It is solidly constructed. Was easy to pair a set of these using the Sonos App. At max the speaker does not distort. It will play loud filling a medium to larger sized room.

The sound from this speaker is AWESOME! There is no dropout or distortion even at higher volumes. I have some "high end" Pro Audio PA equipment from Bose, QSC, etc. and for in home, this speaker is right up there with them.

I absolutely loved my Sonos 5 from the moment I plugged it in and heard the first sounds coming from the spreaker! I loved it so much I went back to Best Buy and purchased a SECOND one to keep in a separate floor of my house. It had me at the first beat!!!! ❤ Love you Sonos 5!!!

There is nothing negative I can say about Sonos. I am sold, or better said I have been sold for a few years now. Have I tried any of the others? No. I cant think of a reason to switch. The new updated Play5 is a continuation of the quality I have come to know from Sonos.

I bought a Play 5 four years ago and was impressed with the richer and deeper sound from the new one I bought recently. It comes with a program that optimizes its effects. I put it on my kitchen table and luxuriate in the resonance it provides.

Very impressed with this product....easy to use and setup. 2 clicks from my phone and it is on....amazing sound. Little expensive though.

Absolutely blows away by the sound quality. Great speaker totally worth the money if you want a fully wireless single unit speaker with full sound. You wont need another one for a stereo effect. But in case you do, it can pair with another speaker just fine.

The more I use the SONOS system the greater I enjoy it. The PLAY:5 has so much power and energy. I have the sound bar and three Play:3s. Play:5 is so much better than the 3s. I love taking the speakers outside and playing them via smart phone while I'm working in the yard! Awesome!

The Sonos Play 5 gives fantastic, well balanced sound in a small package. I have it hooked up to my record player because it has a built-in pre-amp and the sound is incredible. The sound projects quite well through my home and I imagine it would sound great on the patio as well.

Purchased one and I loved it, but wanted more stereo separation in a large living room. The second paired up and sounds incredible. Moved them outside for a recent party and wowed the guests. Could not believe the range of sound without a sub-woofer. Great product!!!

Love my play 5. I bought one a few weeks ago and loved it so much that I bought a second a week later. Bass response is great, clarity is perfect. You know you have a great speaker when the response is just as good at low volumes as it is at high volumes.

I’ve got some other Sonos equipment and a surround setup with Sonos but I wanted something for just music. What an impressive speaker. Sound is excellent. Can’t wait to get a couple more to stereo pair with my turntable.

I have six Sonos devices but wanted one I could move outside. During the summer I like to play music with a little volume so I selected the Play 5 which can be played loudly without distortion.

This speaker is easily transported, has great sound, and supplies good, quality sound for any high school or college student . Awesome.

This is one of the best compact audio system, in both configuration, mono and stereo sound great. The only problem is for an apartment you can go to loud too easy! :) The sound is great for listen classic music, electronic or R&B.

These are my favorite out of all the Sonos speakers I have. They simply fantastic and all around amazing. The bass and clarity are top notch. Pair these together with playbar and sub, you won’t be disappointed.
