Great way to get stereo into my master bedroom without needing to have wiring run through my finished walls. Resonant, full-bodied sound with full range and overall crisp but not shrill sound.

The Sonos 5 delivers great sound in all ranges. Easily programmable and I am using this to start to build a larger system since I can't afford an entire system at one time.

This sound system was the easiest bit of electronics we've ever set up. Just plug in, connect to WIFI, download the app to your phone. We were listening to great sound within minutes.

Worth every penny, especially if you already have other Sonos speakers to sync it to. I have this Play:5 in the master bedroom of my home, and I'm so glad I do.

I have a couple Play:1's and they really do sound fantastic. I absolutely needed the audio-in jack, however, so went with a Play:5. It's a solid product and works great for my application.

We use this speaker at night for white noise and it is outstanding. Also it’s hood god jamming our or filling that area of the house when I turn on all zones.

This speaker sounds great and for the convenience it offers there's nothing that compares favorably in my opinion. The downside is that you need two really to get the best sound.

I was skeptical of whether or not the Play5 would be a significant step up from my Play1s and Play3 to justify paying $500. However, it's amazing and gets even better once broken in.

Excelent quality sound. The only problem I found is the interruption of the music when you play songs from your phone but really doesn't matters when you have Spotify

I recently bought a set of Sonos Play 1 gen 2, but I felt like I needed a larger speaker that could produce deeper bass. The Sonos Play 5 did the trick!

This is a very cool smart speaker. You can use it alone, on it's side, or as part of a pair standing on end. In this way you can build up your system as budget permits. I wouldn't call the sound 'audiophile grade', but it sounds about as good as a one box solution can, without spending a lot more.

I was just like you, “it’s a lot for just one speaker!” Don’t hesitate with this purchase. I live in a 2500 square foot 2 story house. I can hear that thIng EVERYWHERE.

I have SONOS all over the house. I Also have rooms with Flagship audio systems. The Play 5 has superior full range sound quality. I recommend buying 2 and making them a stereo pair.

Set up was so simple, flawless connection to our wifi. Sonos so works like a charm. Absolutely love this speaker. Can't wait to add more components and extend the range of this system!

Great sound! Great product from Sonos. Redesigned exterior doesn't add much from the previous model, except the capacitive buttons. Wish it had an optical input to use a soundbar.
