Sonos speakers are great sounding. The five fills the room fairly well. Needed sub to fully enjoy. Could be a little less costly but these are worth it. Easy setup.

Love the Sonos line. Had one play five and bought a second to have to surround sound makes a huge difference paired with the sub and the play bass.

I love all of my Sonos speakers but this one has got to be the best one yet . Not only is the sound quality fantastic but it also has a input to play music directly through it.

The sound from a pair of Play 5s is amazing! Very happy with the depth of the sound. Stayed up till 1AM listening to our Christmas music.

If you have no way of running speaker wires on the Lanai area or other places in you house or condo then this is the best portable and best sound wireless speaker.

I think the speaker is awesome, just remember that there is no Bluetooth but airplay works phenomenally well, the sound quality of the speaker is well worth the money.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY KITCHEN AND THE SOUND WAS AMAZING. IT WAS A LITTLE TOO POWERFUL FOR MY KITCHEN, SO I ENDED UP RETURNING IT. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN FOR A LIVING ROOM.

The Sonos Play 5 sounds great. I bought two speakers and set them up as a stereo pair. The sound is excellent and can get pretty loud. Expensive yet so worth it.

This speaker has great sound and dynamic range. Very full-bodied and sturdy. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased the Sonos play 5 for my outdoor living space. The sound is wonderful and I'm thrilled to be able to play all of my music via my cell phone or iPad.

I really miss the built in handle! the speaker is great but the newer model doesn't have this.... key as I move my speakers around from time to time.

Added this to my existing Sonos system. The newer gen Play 5 sounds much better than the first gen original Play 5. Great addition to my living room

I bought it as a replacement for a play 5 I had in the garage. The sound produced from this one speaker will fill a very large space with deep sound.

The system is great, but I could not pair this new Play:5 with my older Play:5! If the change is that big of an enhancement where it is no longer a Play:5, call it a Play:5b or Play:6--make it obvious. Documentation and the Sonos App talk about how easy it is to pair similar units and that is what I was counting on. Will Sonos exchange my older Play:5 with a newer version?

I'd rate these units a solid 5 except that I had to go back and purchase a Booster to keep them from cutting off mid-song. Haven't had any problems since then. Excellent sound and control - I love that I can use iPhone, iPad or MacBook Air to control the speakers [I paired two 5's together].

This is a wonderful speaker with crisp clear tones. A little weak with the bass, but a subwoofer could solve this issue. This unit is much better than the compeition.

The Sonos Play 5 has excellent sound. I use it in my living room and a Sonos 3 in my bedroom. I have both of them synced and it is almost like surround sound! I love it!!!

Sonos's wireless interface is superior to anything on the market. The manufacturing quality of the product is outstanding. Sound will please even the most discearning.
