We purchased the playbar as part of a Sonos 5.1 system with the subwoofer and Play One rear speakers. By itself the sound was very good and a huge improvement over basic TV sound. With the other components it is really excellent. Installation was very easy and the software on iPhone or iPad integrates beautifully allowing music playback. I made careful sound comparisons with the 2008 Bose Lifestyle system, then the best Bose offered. Primary reason to replace it was my wife's hatred of wires. The verdict: essentially a draw. The Sonos subwoofer produced deeper more convincing bass. The Bose system gave a somewhat better surround experience, but not much better. Installation of the Sonos is way easier than the Bose.

If you are looking for great sound, easy setup and the elimination of cords this system is for you! I had Geek Squad come out to talk about how to update my home and the recommendation was Sonos. This helped me eliminate an amp and gave me flexibility to add more speakers as I am readily. I also bought 2 connect amps to attach to my in ceiling and on deck speakers. The grouping feature for multiple zones is a great option and you control everything over your phone and iPad if they are on your home wifi.

I was told these are one of the best and now I believe it. It sounds great and it looks sharp even after 2 years later. Definitely one of the best investments I’ve made. I only wish I can turn it up louder without my neighbor complaining. I’m sure ppl know alrdy but want to mention that Sonos only work with TV and internet radio. For example, You cannot hook up a CD player.

I’m not an audiophile so I thought long and hard before spending $600 on a soundbar. I was just so dissatisfied with my two previous lower priced soundbars that I took the plunge when it was on the Black Friday sale. Installation was amazingly simple—download the app, hook it up and find a WiFi signal. I was skeptical about not having a separate remote but my worries were unfounded. The remote instantly paired with my DIRECTV remote on its own. I didn’t get the subwoofer—am hoping for a sale—but the sound is so rich and full. Additionally, clear dialogue was important and the Sonos delivers perfectly. I would heartily recommend this speaker without hesitation.

The sound bar sounds great and is very easy to set up. The Sonos app also provides a lot of added value, with a ton of radio stations, podcasts, and music available. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this purchase.

Sound bar fits perfectly under my Samsung 60" TV. Speaker can lay flat for slimmer profile or can be rotated forward for slightly higher profile. Sound quality was equal to or better than much higher priced speakers.

I am very pleased with the performance of this product. Yes, it is pricey, however, the sound quality is well worth the price. If you purchase a high end TV, purchase high sound and enjoy.

It is super easy to install. Just follow prompts. Anyone with a smart phone can control volume. Sounds is unbelievable. Well worth the high price. No wire, no mess, easy to mount under TV.

I have 2 play ones,1play 3 and now this beauty here and the system is dope! I'm now working on getting the sub, it's a bit pricey but hearing it in the store it's the next item on my list.

Love my sonos system! Had been wanting for a while and finally decided to purchase and glad i did. Great sound, easy to set up and app is super easy. Cant wait to add more players to the rest of my home.

I bought the Samsung one. I am of sure the model but it was $1,400. This Sonos setup blows it away. Plus I never had Alexa. This system turned me on to that. Easy to set up and works.

Had it setup in 10 minutes. Great product with great sound. Only wish you didn't have to play everything through the sonos app and that you could stream directly from from (i.e. Apple play on Sonos)

The Sonos Playbar is easy to set up, sounds great, and simple to use with other Sonos speakers throughout the house.

Unbelievable sound. Literally took seconds to hook up. I also own 4 play :1s and 1 play :2 and can't wait to purchase the sub to add to the collection!

Love the ease of setup. Thought it would be more complicated than it was. Very pleased with sound quality. Was turned off initially without no Bluetooth but still can play my phone remotely. Def recommend it!

I was surprised how easy the setup of this sound bar was. I was immediately impressed with the sound quality. No regrets making this investment.

I bought this as part of the home theater package that includes the sub and two play 1's. I have it connected to my TV in surround sound. I use it for both my home theater and to listen to music. First off, the setup is incredibly simple and fast. I have had traditional home theater systems in the past and they have always been a huge ordeal to setup, and dial in just right. Just running speaker wire through the walls for surround sound systems would take 50 times longer than it took to setup the whole Sonos system. I plugged all of the speakers in where I wanted them, fired up the app, walked through a few guided steps and boom, surround sound. Literally a 10 minute affair. As for the sound? It sounds fantastic for both TV and music. It's loud and clear, and gives you nice control over the EQ and each speaker. I had two motivations in purchasing this system over others. Ease of setup/lack of wire, and expandability. It meets and surpasses both of those requirements. I can now buy additional speakers piecemeal and add them around my house for music in every room. I'm sure that there are traditional systems that can sound better or more "pure", but those will likely cost more money, be significantly more difficult to set up, not look nearly as nice and clean, and to the average person, you'd never be able to tell the difference in sound quality anyway. It is also a premium price. This system is an investment, and probably not the ideal fit for everyone, but if you're looking for elegant design, dead simple setup and control, and the ability to expand into a whole home audio solution, it'd be hard to do better than this.

This sound bar has great sound and even though it is pricy, it is worth the price. You can add more speakers later and will make a great surround sound. Plan to buy the sub and Play 1 speakers.

Great speaker! Awesome surround sound from a bar! FYI-will not work with an existing receiver. Better surround sound with the Sonos sub & 2 Play 1's than I had with my old system! Very pleased!

This sound bar had great reviews and it did not disappoint. It has a great sound and good clarity at high volume. I like that you can add to the bar to make a surround sound system in your home.
