Sound quality exceeds the tv speakers by far. I would recommend the purchase of the Sonos sub woofer to ovarian vastly improved sound.

Great system, soundbar, 2- play-1 speakers and the subwoofer. Sounds excellent. I keep the neighbors awake with Christmas music.

I have been outfitting my house with sonos for a few years now and love it. The latest Play5 is a work of art. Breaking now into my home theater, I wanted to give the play bar a go. As with all other products, it has great sound. Issue I have with it is the lip sync delay. I hook it up thru my xbox one and I cannot figure out how to get the audio aligned. It's almost like watching a Bruce Lee movie at times. Would have rated lower, but I'm not sure if it's a Sonos or XBOX one issue, also, it sounds so good I couldn't bring myself to not rate it high. Sonos, please fix the delay issue (yes, I've tied using the sync in app and get nowhere).

I picked up this soundbar along with the sonos subwoofer and the Play 1 speakers to create my surround sound system for movies and they work amazingly! The playbar especially I love to bluetooth music streaming to, so anywhere in my house you can hear a nice crisp sound! I have been exceedingly happy with this soundbar!

The Sonos sound bar is one of the more expensive soundbars available but it is beyond impressive with sound and functionality. I have mine hooked up to my Amazon Echo so I can literally talk to it and request songs to be played on the Sonos. Impresses everyone that comes over. Also the style is unique and slim. Definitely recommend this product. The only issue I've come across, and it's only happened with some files is that the sound cuts in and out (lasts for maybe a split second or two) and happens every 10-15 seconds. Could be the file or optical cable, but it was enough to irritate me and my guests. Searched online and found it to be an issue many people have been experiencing. Though I do want to reiterate, this only happens in a select few movie files out of close to a thousand files.

We were looking at another sound system, but, are so glad we decided on Sonos! Easy installation and sounds incredible. Would highly recommend!

I am really looking forward to getting the entire system set up in our home in FL. I waited too years to see the price go down.

I truly didn't know what i was missing until i got this sonos playbar. the quality of sound is unmatched. i paired this with my 85" sony 950G and it made my overall tv experience that much better. pair it with the subwoofer and you get movie theater sound in your own home.

I had been told about the excellent sound of this sound bar, but when I bought it, I verified that everything was true and the comments were true, excellent sound. The clarity you have to listen is amazing and fabulous, I am very satisfied with the purchase and above all it is also very easy to install and use

We have a Sonos system and a Bose system and I love the sound of the Sonos Sound separation and the base better than the Bose.

The Sonos sound bar is great. I especially like the play 1's (and play 3's) because of the great sound, versatility, wireless, runs on wifi, controlled with my fancy smart phone, and all of my music sources load into the app. If you're on the fence about buying Sonos speakers, do it now, even if you have to spend part of your child's college fund.

This is the ideal product for someone who has trouble hearing TV sound. Power and optical cable are all that's required. We also have Sonos Play 1 units throughout the house that can be grouped when watching a show from different rooms so you don't have to blast sound to hear it. Very nice sound compared to Bose unit and extremely easy to set up

I love this speaker. Sound quality is excellent for what I would guess would be the vast majority of users. I'm sure there are some hardcore audiophiles who have some complaints. I can't wait to get the sub to go along with the Playbar. I also have a Play3 in another room. The software is really what makes these speakers worth the money IMHO.

Super clear sound. In the past, I had a problem hearing everything unless I turned the sound up very high. Needless to say, my wife got very annoyed with me. With this sound bar, everything comes through very clear and I barely have the sound turned up. Sometimes my wife even asks me to turn it up.

The Sonos Playbar is the best soundbar out there. Coupled with the Sonos sub, you will have the ultimate "man cave" experience with these products!
