This soundbar has great sound quality - I also added the subwoofer. I love the convenience of being able to listen to whatever is on my TV in addition to having the Sonos app on my iPhone, iPad and iMac. The ability to add more speakers in other rooms of the house is awesome too and I plan on doing so.

I wanted something to use with my TV, but primarily for listening to music. I read endless info and reviews, and stood in the store countless times listening to it with the subwoofer. I’ve owned several Bose products over the years and was hesitant to switch to Sonos. But the sound was just so impressive, especially with the subwoofer. Finally, during a sale period, I splurged on the Playbar, the Sub, and two One SLs. OMG. I now listen to music all day, every day! The Sonos app, installed on both my iPhone and iPad, is so simple use. I can control each speaker individually or all of them, and switch from the many options for music and radio. I can even control certain features from my Apple Watch. Updates for the app and system have installed without any problems. I’ve added 3 more One SLs to cover the whole house. I absolutely love it all!

Had a Bose 321 home system was looking into a more newer Bose until I came across a Deadmau5 sonos commercial. At first I thought it was all hype being that it was sold at target but once I heard the sound quality it just made my old Bose system sound like a old boombox.

Point your TV Remote at the PLAYBAR when asked during set-up and you are able to use your own remote in 5 seconds. One of the many ways where Sonos just works. Great ability to pair with other Sonos speakers to create a spatial dimension for TV, Movies, or Music. Top quality product that is well worth the price.

We researched many sound bars and couldn't find anything with better reviews than Sonos. So far so good. Sometimes I have to turn it up to understand the dialogue, but could be more the tv show than the sound bar. The set up on this was very simple.

I had been waiting to get the Sonos Playbar for no good reason, and since I got it, I have been very happy with my decision.

There is not a speaker out there that is comparable for the price. The sound is phenomenal and would not consider any alternative. With more and more people staying in this is like being in the movie theater but in the comfort of your home.

I needed a soundbar that would work for my TV and for my music. I actually tried 3 other soundbars, Bose, Definitive Technology, & Bowers & Wilkins, but ended up returning them because they couldn't do both - music and TV/Movies - as well as I wanted. I finally found what I needed in the Sonos. Bought this with the Sonos Subwoofer and Sonos Boost. Extremely easy to set up. Clear treble and the subwoofer fills in the deep tones. I love that it has a Night option to keep the bass down while others are sleeping. I also love that it has a Voice Enhancer option. My TV is located near a loud furnace, so it comes in handy, especially at night. I don't have to turn up the volume or put on the closed captions anymore. I also love the app. Very easy to use. I can switch from the TV to stream my music, control the volume, etc. No regrets with this purchase!

A breeze to set up up with the Sonos app. Hung it on the wall which looks great with the TV. Sound is very rich. A bit expensive but happy with the purchase.

After returning the polk sound bar and sub(sound was terrible) I decided to spend a bit more than I wanted to. I am glad I did. I love this sound bar. Sounds great and paired with the sub there are no complaints. The sound is clear and the bass booms

I know there’s been some concern about the Playbar being a bit long in the tooth, but after comparing it to the Beam, the audio quality is just light years beyond. When paired with two Sonos Ones, you get all the “smart” features of the Sonos One, so no big loss there. The only other determining factor is the connection - TOSLink/SPDIF Optical, or HDMI-ARC? Strangely enough, lots of online articles act like it’s the optical-only input of the Playbar that’s limiting. Well, as of 2018, I’ve yet to run into a mid grade or high end TV that did not have optical out - I can’t say as much for HDMI-ARC. Maybe this will change in a few years, but right now I just don’t get the practicality of HDMI-ARC until TV makers start getting a LOT more generous with HDMI ports (usually only one supports ARC, if any at all).. and implementations I’ve seen have been flaky at best. Set up was simple; in 15 minutes I was good to go with the Playbar and Ones as surrounds.

Sonos Sound bar is as good as advertised only wish that it was a little more modern looking (aka bose).

This is a great product. We can add on to other rooms in the home, play our entire music library through the app and select pandora. The possibilities seem to be limitless, looking forward to adding on more speakers. So easy to set up, nothing complicated. Took about 4 minutes to connect all of the wireless components to the sonos app.

Most amazing sound comes out and love that your smartphone is the remote so you can play music through it bluetoothed.

The Sonos Playbar and Subwoofer were the perfect additions to our TV experience. They make it hard to leave the room.

Started with a pair of Play 1s and fell in love. SONOS doesn't do sales except for black friday so when there was a $50 gift card promotionI jumped on it. This plus the sub plus the Geek Squad protection cost more than my first car but I don't regret a penny of it. Thinking of adding a Play 3 or 5 come Christmas.
