The Sonos Sound Bar is simply Amazing. The more I use it, the more I learn and the more impressed I become. It is heavily dependent on your smart phone for the setup and daily use (streaming spotify). The sound is incredible for a simple sound bar, but I guess that's just it, it's not a normal simple sound bar. The Sonos Sound Bar is an intelligent, great sounding, futuristic sound bar available today for our listening pleasure.

Great sound, awesome wireless system for the home. The sound bar is so easy to setup and connect to my existing sonos system. It easily connects to the bridge and other sonos speakers to allow you to play what's on the tv on every speaker. I take my play 5 outside to get awesome sound on my outdoor tv for the big game. You can play music from your computer, iPhone and pandora in all the speakers or play different sources in each speaker all from the easy to use app on your phone. When I had directv come out and replace equipment the guy was super impressed when I setup the sound bar and configured the directv remote with just a few simple steps on the sonos app on my iPhone.

I Purchased the Sonos soundbar along with the subwoofer and setup was ridiculously easy!!! App is ok but I barely use due to the App helping me link my sonos soundbar to my harmony remote in two seconds, I didn’t even have to connect my harmony remote to my PC to configure. App walks you through the whole 10 minute process. It took longer to place the items where you want them and to connect soundbar to tv LoL. Calibrating the Sonos to your specific room that you’re in was a snap as well. Awesome sound/bass. coming from returning a samsung soundbar with matching samsung rear speakers that kept giving me lip sync issues & kept cutting out on me on a regular basis, which I am glad I did return because this thing is a Beast! going to upgrade and get me two play ones for that extra surround feel though I really don’t need to I just want to haha. Money well spent.

I was looking for a surround sound system to go with my new TV. The Best Buy Associate showed me this in the store. I was able to listen to it and really liked the sound AND the fact that I wouldn't need to run wires to other speakers. Sonos is modular and I didn't have to buy everything up front. So I bought the playbar and the bridge. Only down fall is how expensive Sonos is. But the sound is exceptional, the system is modular and there is no need to run wires between components, which make it worth the expense.

Expensive, but worth the price as it links to the entire Sonos System and is very easy to setup.

I purchased this sound bar to go with all my other Sonos speakers (which I love) throughout the house. I wanted to use it in the bedroom for the TV and also use it in place of Play 1 speakers for music (kill 2 birds with one stone). For music it sounds as good if not better than my Play 1 speakers. But for TV, without a separate subwoofer, the bass comes directly at you from the bar and it just does not sound right. The bass should surround you and you shouldn't be able to tell where it is coming from. This cost 700.00 and then they want you to buy the separate subwoofer at another 700.00. It also only has an optical input, no HDMI, so there are limits on what it can process. Has same high quality as other Sonos products, but I exchanged it for a Sony sound bar with wireless subwoofer for 400.00 and it sounds so much better, has 4K pass though with 3 HDMI ports, different sound modes, adjustment to boost dialog, and many more features. 1400.00 compared to 400.00 and Sony sounds so much better and tons more features. Sonos should offer this bar with the wireless subwoofer at the same price (700.00) and it probably would be a winner. The other major miss is that you can't adjust the Bass and Treble separately based on whether the sound is from the TV (optical in) or from the network (playing music). So you have to keep adjusting it back and forth, big miss. Don't get me wrong its not like the sound is horrible, just not worth 700.00

I was a bit hesitant spending this much on a soundbar but the sound quality was great and the setup was easy. I also like that it is expandable with other sonos devices. Great option if you don’t have a lot of space or don’t want a huge sound system.

This unit hooked up easy and sounds great! I have hooked up the sub to go along and that is amazing.

Sound is great and looks great in the room. I recommend that everyone goes out and buys a sonos system.

If you already have A Sonos system in your house then this is a no-brainer. In addition to being a great sound bar, it is also a wonderful speaker. It sounds pretty good by itself, much better with the sub, and best with a couple of play 1's for surrounds. Make sure you have a tv that has 5.1 optical output, such as the "c"" class Sony's. The system is not cheap, but doubles well as a great sound system for your music.

My recent purchase of the SONOS - PLAYBAR Soundbar Wireless Speaker - Black/Silver has turned out to be a very wise decision. I was a bit skeptical at the idea of spending that much money on a speaker; however, it has made such a drastic difference in our television viewing experience. We also purchased the boost and subwoofer. Also, worth the money. The iphone app set up was flawless. I would definitely recommend these products.

Great sound bar! Will look into adding the subwoofer in the future because you don’t get that deep base sound hat from the bar. Set up was a bit difficult due to the LG tv I bought with it. Took some investigating on the LG website to them to work together but that’s not on Sonos. App is needed to set it up which I thought was odd but overall made it easy to set up. No issues otherwise.

The Sonos sound bar sounds amazing. It is simple to set up and and easy to use.

I have had a few soundbar's in the past but they definitely blow the other ones away. Easy to setup and integrate the the Play:1 speakers I already had. Sound quality is great for both movies and listening to music. These are definitely not cheap but great quality!

This system is expensive, but if you want a wireless entertainment system, this one is the best.
