Great sound. Easy to hookup. Easily connected to other SONOS products.

This thing is sweet, 4 stars tho because for the price I expected a little bit more natural sound. However it does sound great, music is absolutely amazing. Movies and tv shows vary depending on the age of the program. Definitely recommend the sonos set up for quality sound plus ease of set up. It took less than 5 minutes from opening the box and having it running

We listened to this in the store. The associate turned it up and I felt it in my chest, in a good way, like a loud scene at the movie theatre, and thought, this is the one if we're going to spend the money. If I have this one on and another TV on (that has no system) at the end of the house, and walk back and forth, the sound is night and day different!! Makes the husband so happy to have!!

My Sonos system works very well. it was easy to set up and the sound quality is great.

this is the ultimate multi-purpose music system. great to use for both tv viewing and at-home entertainment. the sound quality is extra crisp. the Apple App enables you to control the soundbar from anywhere in the home. love that i can also play music from various music sites (i.e., soundcloud, iTunes, sirius, etc.).

The Sonos Playbar is a great soundbar for its price. Well-rounded for most genres of music and awesome for gaming and movies. Nice and loud and does very well with bass without the sub. I use it primarily for listening to music via spotify, but it does delivers excellent results for my TV viewing experience.

I bought a really nice tv and was told my new tv deserves a really good sound bar so I researched a bunch of them. I almost bought a different one but I’m so glad I didn’t! I talked to my brother-in-law which used to install for Best Buy and he told me about Sonos. After researching it and watching videos I decided to take the Sonos plunge and I’ll never look back! The sound is amazing to say the least! If you can afford this sound bar and are looking to upgrade your current system then definitely give Sonos a try. You will not be disappointed! I actually went and bought the sub a couple weeks later. I’m more impressed now than I ever thought I’d be! It’ll be Sonos for me from now on!

A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Great sound and quality.

I upgraded my sound system recently to Sonos, and we love it. But I can see why it might not be for everyone. I eliminated a receiver, and a whole lot of wires, then I just had to plug the sonos into the wall for power and into the TV optical out for sound. Setup was easy and very quick. I also added two Sonos Play 1's for rear surround sound. Also very easy to do. The system works great, and sounds awesome. I haven't added a sub to the system. But it sounds terrific as is today, and I'm happy. Why someone might not like it. Well, if you have lots of components, more than your TV can handle, or if your TV model does not output Dolby digital surround sound from the Optical output then this may not meet your needs. But I have a new Sony TV, and it does output Dolby digital to the Sonos Playbar. So the two complement each other perfectly.

I love this component as a compliment to my surround system of sonos speakers and sound bar. When used with the complete system it serves as a tv surround sound as well as a top quality stereo for music! It plays anything from apps or downloaded music from devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc. through the Bluetooth connection. The sound is amazing!

Paired with a subwoofer and moved my already owned 1s to the rear. Tv sounds great and normal stero does too. Easy Sonos setup and volume control on Direct tx remote easily paired up as well. Pricey, but exceeded my expectations in every way.

Very happy with the purchase. The Playbar sounds good when paired with the Subwoofer (I have not used without the sub). I prefer it for TV/movies over music, and I think the Play:1 speakers sound better for music. The simplicity and control is outstanding. I had a full AVR 5.1 system that this replaced, and I am glad I made the move for the ease of use and the overall Sonos ecosystem.
