The songs sounder is easy to set up and produces great sound. We have a Sony 55 inch 850 TV that has great picture but only OK sound. With the sounder we have great sound and also have a sounds system for the house that we can add to incrementally. Visually it looks great with the TV. Highly recommend it

I have placed this in my vacation property with the Sonos 1's and it is amazing. Easy to use for us while also easy to use for our guests. No other electronics necessary as all works directly and easily with phone and television. Highly recommend. Best time to buy for price is Thanksgiving weekend as that is the only time of year it goes on sale.

I Purchased a SONOS Playbar, Sub, & 2 Play:5 Gen 2 Speakers for the Living Room, plus Play:1 Speakers for the Sun Room & Master Bedroom. The quality of the sound is excellent. I also bought a 2 TB NAS (Network Attached Server) & ripped my CDs to it. I can play music from the NAS, I Heart Radio, Pandora, etc. independently in each room or can group rooms together from the APP.

We have probably sold 5 of these for Best Buy since Thanksgiving. The sound is amazing and using Pandora is so easy. the only complaint is navagating everything in the APP. I say where we can snooze music before bed, but cannot refind that button. Mike accidently found out he can broadcast the football game thru the house on all speakers - who knew? Not my techie son in law

Great soundbar. -The sound of this thing is worth 5 stars alone. It does a great job creating that surround sound feeling for a soundbar. -The initial setup was a breeze. But I had a major problem when I got a new router for my internet and had to switch all my Sonos to the new network. I'll go more into this later. Here's where it loses a few points: -The price. It's not competitively priced at all, but as long as it lasts a long time, it'll be well worth it. -It works off of wifi and not bluetooth. Now maybe this is the best thing these days. But I had a very hard time switching everything to a new network. It took me over an hour on the phone with tech support to get everything back up and running correctly, and I'm somewhat tech savvy myself. -The Sonos app is not easy to use. Too much going on. It takes about 5 sub menus to adjust sub and surround levels. -The Alexa functions of my other Sonos speakers don't work well with other Alexa devices. Now, I didn't but them for Alexa, but I did want it to connect to my other Amazon Alexa speakers when I play music in my Everywhere Group. So far I can't get this to work. -There's no HDMI... only fiber optic. This is especially frustrating because now my TV can't control the volume. So if you have a "cable" remote and a TV remote, you can only use one to control the volume. I know this may seem like a weird thing to gripe about, but it's annoying.

Best sound I have heard from a soundbar. Definitely need the sub to go with it

The Sonos sound bar was a great addition to my existing Sonos system. It’s easy to set up and the sound quality is top notch. My only complaint is that it doesn’t play nice with an existing (Non-sonos) stereo system as I found out. Now I have to save up to buy the sub woofer instead of using the nice one I already have. Still worth it as I have 5 other Sonos speakers to complete my surround sound...and with no wires.

Absolutely love the sound bar. Great sound, and very easy to set-up. To fully outfit to the 5.1 surround sound version, you're looking at approximately $2,000.00, but worth it to not have all the speaker cable running everywhere. Highly recommend for apartments.

The Sound bar is fantastic as a stand alone addition to the TV, my TV has built in down firing speakers and with it mounted over my mantel the sound would get deflected and would need to be turned up to hear it well. Now the sound is so full and no need for loud volume, unless you want it, and it is there if you want it. This thing rocks!

I'm almost religious about Sonos. Practically every room has either a Play 5 or speakers wired to a Connect Amp. Even my garage and my pool area and my outside deck is Sonos'd. So it was only logical that i eventually go with the Playbar. Yea, the form and functionality is there but the sound quality is just OK. And you definitely need the sub. So the price tag is very high for something that in my opinion is just above average. Sorry Sonos. I love your products and your customer service is the best but I think Bose has got you beat on this one.

This is a great system if you have the dollars to spend and don't want to or can't set up a true "surround sound" set up. Be sure and get the sub

First, the soundbar does have really great sound. It does sound even better with the subwoofer which really makes the sound much richer. But the best part is the seamless integration with an iPhone app that easily lets you control a network of speakers in your house. We have the system in 3 rooms. Works exactly like it is supposed to and the app is easy to navigate.

I went out on a limb and purchased this system on a friend's recommendation. This system would be replacing a Bose system. I am so happy that I did. Not only is it easy and fun to use, but it sounds 10 times better. I look forward to up-grading the system to other speakers in the house very soon.

I researched a lot before buying, Sonos is the easiest way if you don't have a pre-wired house, I wanted to give it a try and started with the sound bar, the tv sounds much better now, I'm also thinking buy the bass system.

Great sound, and a very quality-feeling build. Sounds great on its own, but add a sub and a couple Play 1s and you have an amazing surround sound system, excellent for both movies and listening to music.
