great product,great sound, simple to install and use

I read many reviews as to the best sound system to purchase. Based upon other excellent reviews, I bought the Sonos Soundbar along with the Sonos Subwoofer. I was not disappointed. It is a great purchase. We also bought the Sony Sound Bar for another TV set-up. The Sonos is by far the better quality sound system. And it is so easy to set-up, especially for someone like me that is technically challenged. Just follow a few prompts on-screen and it is set up in only a few minutes. The other aspect of the Sonos system is that it does not require an additional remote to control the volume of the sound or to turn it on. It links in with your TV or universal remote. Also I like the ability to add on other Sonos products in other rooms and it is all connected.

This was a Christmas gift from my wife. I must say that it was the best gift of the year. It was installed without difficulty and integrated with my Sonos system already installed in the house. The initial setup with my Tv was very simply and I was enjoying movie quality sound in a few minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

First off, because of its price (not cheap), I wasn't sure what to expect so I researched it a ton and read a lot of reviews, which is why am writing this one. To try and help out if you are trying to decide. I bought the play bar and installed it with two Play 1's to the left and the right of the couch. I did not get the subwoofer and I am extremely happy without it, thus far. This was super easy to set up, I didn't even need to read the manual, because the app walks you through the whole process. From cracking open the boxes to fully set up with the surround, maximum 30-45 minutes. Unboxed, set up, speakers tuned to the room, ready to go! Unreal, love it! Even TV sounds better and amazing !!!

Definitely crispy sound, if you are in to technology definitely cool as you can build off of it. If you do not feel like building then you can just get the bose comparable but this gets the job done and easy to stream music off of it.

playbar sounds great and like all sonos products is trivial to set up. The bar is bulkier than most, particularly depth, so plan your space. Switching between TV and streamed audio is seamless. I'm looking forward to piecing together an a/v receiverless 5.2 system, but that will take awhile because of the high sonos unit cost.

Love, love, love... Sounds fantastic. Simple setup

I was skeptical about spending so much money on a sound bar since I had one from the past in the other room for 200 bucks. I have to admit, I was missing out. The sound bar is awesome, it spreads sound according to the room after you have tuned it to the room (indeed a different experience waving the hand around like you are searching for hidden devices) and I don't even have a sub-woofer with the amount of crystal clear sound I get. I love using the app from my phone which allows me to control, as well as play all my device and cloud based music and other services like pandora, spotify, amazon music. It was setup in minutes and ready to go out of the box.

This sound bar in an of itself is fantastic. I do however highly recommend pairing it with a sub to have the best possible experience in the tv room. Setup is easy. Sound quality is great. Night mode is wonderful at providing the ability to hear spoken word without having to have the system be too loud and wake u our kids.

The Sonos Soundbar is the best addition I've made to my home electronics suite, and I am including the Sony Bravia 4K TV. Sound is rich and deep. Combined with Sonos Play 1s and I have terrific (and easy) surround sound system in my main room. Fantastic.

The sound system is very high quality and sounds amazing. Pretty simple set up when following directions. Do not attempt to set up with out directions. However, the sound system does not connect directly to the tv. It only connects to the cable box, which means if you want to watch DVDs or Apple TV you have to switch back to your tv speakers. Also when playing music with the app... The app is quite amateur and only plays through a queue that you have to start fresh with every time instead of just playing directly off a playlist. A Bluetooth option would be much more beneficial.

The SONOS - PLAYBAR Soundbar Wireless Speaker is amazing! Strange at first without a remote but downloading the app and having control of everything, music, library, Pandora, TV, from my iPhone and iPad is amazing! Easy to set up, navigate, and sounds great! I'm getting additional Sonos products for the rest of the house.

I purchases this to replace my Denon amp and Klipsch speakers that were to bulky. The sound bar is more than impressive and it takes up very little space. The sound is better than the system I had before and I spent several thousands of dollars on...

Not only do we now have great sound on the TV but we are able to listen to wonderful sounding music via, iPhone or IPad. It is marvelous. Also we called the Sonos help line for installation and start up instructions and they were great to deal with. Although this was a little pricey, it was certainly worth it in quality.

The first time I came across this speaker I was in at my friend's house in Canada. Honestly, the ease of use was insane, everyone in the house that was connected to the network could log on and play there favorite song. The sound quality is near perfect. I would tell everyone to purchase this!

This system is so simple to set up and the sound... Absolutely Amazing!! Extremely happy with his purchase and would recommend. And the best part... no wires!!

The Sonos Playbar is a great addition to a home theater system. Setup is simple and the addition of 2 Play 1 speakers makes wireless 5 speaker surround sound simple. The playbar is very large however. If you aren't mounting it to the tv or the wall be prepared to dedicate significant space in your entertainment system.

A little pricey, but it is a very easy to use sound bar and sounds great. Very nice that you can add speakers to it. Nice also that you use your phone to control speaker.

I looked at a few different soundbars before choosing the Sonos Playbar. The app and ease of set up were two reason for going with this unit. The sound is great, but it really comes alive with the addition of the Sub. I think it's necessary to buy them both. Cons- Does not decode DTS
