This Sonos Playbar is awesome. Although the store demo was lacking, through research and help from the store associates, I was able to make the right choice. I have to commend BB on having quality staff working in the Kildeer, IL location. I wish I could remember the two gentlemen that helped me, but they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. Note: I did not buy the sub at the same time. At the time of this writing, I only have this Playbar. Although I do plan on purchasing within the next couple of weeks, the sound is amazing. I replaced an lower-end 2.1 system I had with this, and even without the sub, it's one heck of an upgrade. If you're on the fence or dont want to make the initial investment, this alone will most likely be an upgrade. With that said, I'm looking forward to getting the sub soon to truly upgrade the experience. Highly recommend.

The Sonos sound bar performs perfectly. We called the Sonos help line for installation and app information. They were helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. We are excited to purchase the extra wireless speakers as we will then have surround sound without wires and hookups. Amazing product.

We ere initially hesitant to spend so much on two speaker (Playbar and Subwoofer), however, I can now hear all the verbiage and background noise in television shows and movies. Music is incredible and the look of the system is very nice. The subwoofer (I bought white) blends in with our travertine floor and beige wall much better than black. The black Playbar blends in with the TV. We could not be more satisfied with our purchase.

This produces great sound quality in our basement den, though was a bit pricey. We've been fine without the sub-woofer.

I bought a sonos last year at Christmas only to return it, big mistake. The sound is amazing and I love having all the music channels. Big bonus is that you can adjust the volume from you phone or tablet. Love my sonos

It has an awesome sound, even without the sub. Clear, crisp dialogue and great sound. That and the ease of setup makes it an excellent buy.

I inadvertently reviewed the SONOS in the SONY spot. There is no comparison! The SONOS sounds so much better than the SONY that I replaced the SONY with the SONOS. No distortion at higher volumes. Sound feels like a 7.1 system!

If you're looking for exceptional sound and a system that can be expanded - all over your house for that matter - the Sonos Playbar is a great component to start with. This is my second Sonos Playbar. I purchased the first one, the Sonos subwoofer, and a couple of Sonos 3 speakers for a TV in my house. The bonus is they can be used for listening not only for home theater, but also for music as well and for anything else that you wish to listen to. I bought the second one after a couple of years with the first, for another set up in my basement. They deliver quality sound and are easy to setup.

Sounds much better than I expected! The setup is easy the app works perfectly with all speakers and the amazon Alexa. I am going all in with Sonos 5.1 surround system and speakers through out my home. I wish they offered discounts maybe during the holidays

At first I was looking at prices for the soundboard that until I came upon the Sonos their demo was Fantastic give me goosebumps, this was the one. I recommend Sonos if your looking the best sound.

I got this sound bar for Christmas. The sound bar set up very easy and sounds very good in our house. it looks good and was easy to hang using the sonos wall mount.

I owned the Bose surround system for ten years and wanted to go wireless and I reviewed the Sonos system. I bought the Playbar, sub, and 2 play ones and absolutely love it...I hear background sounds I never heard with the bose system...5 Star all the way

Couldn't ask for a higher quality sound. Sounds just as good as my other stereo setup that costs about 3,000. I do advise anyone getting this to pair with the sub as the bass is limited when you reach a certain volume but besides that, sounds is the best quality you can ask for.

From the time I opened the box I was impressed with the care in packing. Set up was super easy specially with the sonos online videos and free downloadable app. I like how watching tv or jamming to my favorite tunes the sound I get from he speakers is room filing amazing.

This soundbar absolutely rocks!! Not only does it make your TV sound awesome, but when not watching the TV you can listen to music. Pair this up with the sub, now you have great sound, now pair this up with some Play5s and now you have awesome sound.

I've installed 2 systems now in two different units. It works! Great alternative to creating a connected sound system, less hassle and sounds great. Although adding up the components can be expensive, I've found that the benefit, and user-friendly aspect of the installation is worth it.

I bought three Sonos Play:5 speakers as a Christmas present to myself. I loved them, and was eager for components in my basement TV room, both to extend the music to all levels and to improve my TV experience. Enter PlayBar, the perfect solution! It was a breeze to set up, and the sound is great. I haven't compared lots of other systems, but this evening I mistook the sound of a small earthquake on TV for thunder rumbling outside. I'm happy!

Set up a Sonos 5.1 system w the Playbar as the centerpiece. Its just an incredible piece of equipment. Additions of 2 rear Sonos Play 1s helps the overall balance of sound but is really not a necessity. Neither are the other add ons I put in, (connect amp, wired front speakers, wired powered sub). They only add to the experience but certainly not a necessity. I'm a big Sonos fan now w/ its easy setup and great sound at a fair price. Highly recommend the Playbar.

The Sonos wireless soundbar has amazing sound. It sounds as if you are sitting in a movie theatre right in your living room. I would definitely recommend Sonos to anyone looking for a great quality speaker system.

I was leary about soundbars before I heard this one. OMG...this thing rocks, there is plenty of bass without the subwoofer. Pretty amazing sound coming from this unit.
