My house was pre-wired for home theater and whole house surround. I priced both options and elected to go with the Sonos system for my house due to the sound quality and ease of set-up. The hardest part of this set-up may have been the unboxing all of the equipment. The Sonos App walks you through the set-up step by step and was very simple. I set up surround sound home theater and 4 additional rooms in less than 30 min.

I bought this soundbar to go with my Samsung 65 inch 4K TV and its amazing - has improved the overall viewing experience (picture and sound) considerably. I can use remote that I use for Cable and TV to control the volume for this soundbar, which is great. The convenience of iOS controller app is fabulous and I can play Pandora and local radio on the soundbar when we are not watching TV. Just remember that while configuring, your controller and soundbar are using the same network, in case if you have 2 - else controller will not detect the soundbar.

Almost bought the Sonos subwoofer with my purchase of the PLAYBAR but am glad I waited because in my small room I don't need the extra boom. Absolutely pleased with the bass output of the PLAYBAR alone as well as the overall quality! Will eventually get the subwoofer when I have a bigger place or want a little extra bump but for now the PLAYBAR was a great purchase I do not and will not regret making.

My old system could not handle the excessive WiFi output: cell phones, PS3's and TV's, etc. The Sono system fits my need! The sound is excellent!

I coupled the Sonos Playbar with the Sonos sub-woofer and the room filling sound is absolutely awesome. Whether watching TV or playing music, this is perfect for a family room entertainment system.

We purchased this sound bar to accompany a small television in our main living room. The intent was to have a minimal looking setup that provided great sound. Turns out we never bought the tv to go with it as we have a movie room elsewhere in the house. We have been using the sound bar constantly as a music speaker and everyone had so much fun with it during the holidays creating playlists, playing Pandora and each person being able to control it with their own phone. Fantastic sound quality for one piece. We ended up purchasing two Play 1 speakers to use in another part of the home and will probably move the sound bar to the movie room and buy a Play 5 for the living room.

Purchased so o's speaker bar and got rid of old stereo. Minimal wires, crazy easy to set up even for a novice. Easily fills a very large room. Look forward to expanding system to other rooms.

Great addition to my other Sonos speakers. Very easy install and very easy to setup. Paired with two Sonos 1 as surrounds. Very crisp clear and loud sound. Highly recommend.

The sound this bar can put out (with the sub) is amazing. I can hear every single detail of the movie or song I am listening to. The price is definitely on the high end, but considering how long and how often I plan to use this I consider it worth it. On top of all of that, the Sonos app makes the product and it's paired speakers in other rooms even more valuable as you can sync them to get sound throughout the whole home. I love it.

Just got my first sound bar and Sonos is perfect. Spreads sound around my family room and makes me very anxious to add the remote speakers upstairs. Great way to "surround sound" your entire house!

Sonos has really created a great product line. Even though the devices are a bit on the pricey side, you certainly get what you pay for. Super easy setup and very easy to use. Audio quality is definitely above average and should satisfy most audiophiles. Several good wall mounting options are available and they're all reasonably priced. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone that wants a HiFi wireless audio system.

I will admit my bias first, we have 7 Sonos speakers in the house, 1, 3 and 5's, but just bought the Soundbar, and love them all. Great sound, we replace our surround sound with the one speaker, and still think the sound overall is better. As with all Sonos, it so easy to set up, control on your phone, tablet, desktop. What I really love about the Soundbar is when we are not watching TV it can be switch to just another speaker, and when I use our remote to watch TV the remote can be easily programmed to switch the Soundbar from music to TV. Really well thought out. So if someone is downstairs working, they can listen to their music while I watch TV upstairs all from the same controller.

I bought 2 Play:1 speakers before I bought the soundbar and I loved them so much, I decided to turn my living room into a Sonos surround sound room by buying a soundbar. I am going to buy the subwoofer in the next year, but the soundbar gives excellent sound (and bass) in the meantime. It is an expensive way to have a great surround sound system, but if you love Sonos then you will absolutely love the soundbar.

Took out the old wired front speakers and went to wireless sound bar that works with our phones and tablets. Great sound and relatively easy to use even if you are over 60

I've been purchasing Sonos speakers for the last couple of years & placing them around the house. Decided to add this playbar & so glad I did! Great sound while watching TV & even better sound while listening to music! Easy to setup and add to my additional speakers. The only thing I didn't like is that there was no hdmi hookup (optical only) but got over that really quick. Definitely would recommend.

The Sonos soundbar is beyond good. The quality is amazing, the highs and lows are perfect and the bass is quite outstanding for its size. Perfect for big and small rooms!

I purchased this in a set with 2 play 1's and the sub, couldn't be happier, I switched from a bose product, and to me, the range is so much better. Easy to set up as well.

I was a little skeptical at first, but then heard a demo in store and was impressed. Purchased the sub with the playbar and it sounds great! So far I am very happy with both the playbar and sub.

Great sound bar! Works great with Video Games and watching movies. If you pair it up with the Sonos wireless subwoofer it is even better. Connecting the sound bar is very smooth and easy, I really enjoy the cellphone app and the cool things that you can do such as mixing your songs like a DJ. The sound quality I would compare to that of the Bose Sound System. This is an excellent product and to me it was a must have!

This is by far one of the best wireless units available. The sound quality is excellent. The SONOS unit solved our problem of not being able to run wires to all of the surround sound system.
